Well I didn't watch the video but instead converted it to mp3 and listened to it on my ipod while grocery shopping, so I may have missed a few things.

My take:
1. Why is he telling people to start up a militia without any political movement behind it? Military forces without legitimate civilian political leadership are just armed groups without purpose other than their own existence are they not?

2. Realistically training reliable fighters for combat takes years, starting from young age in the right environment. This is why so many of our combat tropps come from small farming towns and the hills countryside. The Taliban know this well and start the boys at madrasas. Now how do these guys calling for a 2nd revolution think Joe the Plumber and Suzie soccermom are going become ready to do battle by playing airsoft on the weekend? They don't even have time for that pointless crap.

3. Alex Jones - this man often uses 'fighting words' yet has zero time spent in wartime environment, never served in the military, is physically unfit for combat duties. Don't forget that this guy made all pro-gun citizens look stupid on Piers Morgan.

4. Early in the video I heard the voice of an activist talking about meeting a comrade in real life for the first time. Judging by the sound of his Kooni voice this isn't a guy we need behind us.

5. Big talk about 'Mossberg' shotguns and 'fifty cal' rifles. Have they never seen a video thermal feed of insurgents being decimated by a Apache gunship from two kilometers away?

6. Does their message contain anything helpful for the average American of two working parents, neglected kids, increasing bills and a mortgage? Does this video make them favorable to the Patriotic 'cause' or does it utterly repulse them?

7. Calling for violent actions against the government is ILLEGAL and can get you sent to jail.

Its so much more ridiculous to watch. You missed a lot of fupas, fanny packs, and tri-corn hats. Oh, and the best part - that retard was active duty, so he picked up a 15-6 then ousted, haha

Yes, I believe America is ailing, and perhaps something could potentially be brewing. But throwing your name on arbitrary lists, making blanket claims that can be easily construed as paranoia, and showcasing your PTSD symptoms on the world wide web likely are not going to change anything. In fact, they'll delegitimize a cause just as quickly as nearly all of that footage did. If the last bastion of hope for America is a handful of troubled Marines with airsoft guns, a sparse crowd of fat women and old men dressed like clowns - then I'm just gonna go ahead and take the wife, kids, and chickens into the woods now.

Oh man you just reminded of a point I forgot: Oathkeepers!
I actually got to see Stewart Rhodes in action at a Tea Party rally in 2010 at a public park in Las Vegas, which turned out to be more like a very large barbeque than a political rally. A local candidate of the GOP franchise came down to shake hands and kiss babies, finding zero babies on site he eventually made his way to the vicinity of the Oathkeeper desk where Rhodes was sitting, flanked by two or three average looking dudes aside from the stern looks the kept on their faces. So the guy says hi I'm running for this office blah blah, and Rhodes goes 'Will you uphold the Constitution?!' 'Will you uphold the Constitution?!' 'Its a simple question!' Then the GOPer said a few words in a low tone that seemed to satisfy the Rhodes and the other Oathkeepers and they parted ways. Rhodes must have been having an emotional day because he didn't come across the way he does on screen.

Does Rhodes have income outside of the Oathkeepers? I just went to their website and whaddaya know an online store where they sell patches for $20, banners and flags for $60-85, five pack of Constitutions for $8 I guess that's for handing out on Halloween huh?

What do we have here at the bottom of their website?

Why is it a corporation instead of a 501(c) non profit, like other political groups?

The second sentence of yours I bolded describes almost everyone at the Tea Party rally I went to, in fact there was one guy who was dressed in civil war attire, can't recall if it was CSA or Union. Not exactly a scene of strength and vitality.

I agree - his sentiment is accurate - but his treatment is wrong. I think his judgement is skewed by intense psychological issues evidenced in how frequently he is almost brought to tears in nearly every scene. Its unfortunate. Surrounding with other like-minded folks and ne'er do wells will only perpetuate his illness.

But seriously, the rest of the video is hilarious hahah I do appreciate ya sharing it though. They would have done a better service to their ideology to distance themselves from some of the more tin-foil-hat of their brethren haha
