Why are there so many provinces in Afghanistan ?

Yes its possibel, but what the point actualy, its not like we are living in a difrent coutry we are still all in Afghanistan, but if the reason was to split up, so that it would be easier to govern that region, we schould just live as it is.....
And we hear the whole time that centralisation is not working, so isn't it better it to be it like this???

How the hell is uzbekistan bigger then Afghanistan? Look at a map once in while uzbekistan is not bigger then Afghanistan in land size or population. States like uzbeksitan and tajikstan have MIXED culture, meaning they have been influenced by neighobrung cultues like afghan and Persian culture. Khushal you keep talking without proof, i need EVIDENCE. And when did i indicate there were 10 provinces in 1880? nowhere in my post did indicate that.

I think he is confusing Uzbeckistan with Kazachstan.....

Afghanistan has 30 mill population while Uzbekistan has 29 mill population. Why do you think all the Uzbeks come across the Amu Darya into Afghanistan?
