Asfandyar doesnt know ABC of Politics: Mother

PESHAWAR: The mother of ANP chief Asfandyar Wali Khan, Begum Naseem Khan has blamed her son for the failure of the ANP in the elections.

Begum Khan said her son did not know the “ABC of Politics,” adding that they should have boycotted the elections due to terrorism. She also attributed the inclusion of Afrasyiab Khattak in the party as a major reason for defeat.

“Leaders were sitting in Islamabad while party workers were dying,” Begum Khan said.

The ANP which was the governing party in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa suffered defeat at the hands of the PTI which gained majority in the province after the 2013 elections. The ANP also just secured one seat in the National Assembly.

I remember she applied for a Senate seat and ANP refused to grant her that.

Everybody will praise you when you get success but if you fail your good qualities turns into bad ones......When ANP under Asfandyar got majority in 2008 it was ok then, and when today he failed , he doesn't know the ABC's of politics. She is about 80 and should now give time to prayers and other religious obligations....

She was arrested in London once for shoplifting. Or was that a trap?

There is something wrong within the family due to which Begum Nasim had a chance to give such statements. And Asfandyar rejected her application for being a Senator.

The whole lot of ANP considers others as stupid and gulible and accusations of being played in the hands of agencies are being put on others but they themselves were badly used in the against terror and now noone is there to support them. They thought they will always be in the same position and mr zardari and co would support them loool.
They are really not politicians, infact a pashtun can never be a politician. Dirty politics even politics is the game of punjabis and zardaris.

Id like to offer a clarification as I've just learned today, she is infact his step-mother. So her animosity towards asfandyar makes more sense. Clarification on my behalf

In 2008 US was behind the victory of ANP.
Asfand was never a good politicains NOR A GOOD PASHTUN LEADER.
                Pashtun need a brave leader.
A coward leader like asfand setting in safe govt in islam abad will never win the hearts and mind of pashtun.
A pashtu mathal was written everywhere in pekhawar for asfand when he flew away in pak army helicopter,,,,,khraray da daza sara laaray,,,.

Azam hoti already escaped to UK with young humaira hoti his new and forth wife.
Their dirty politics is finish forever.
                What they did?
                corruption,stealing,commission.
Asfandyar ,s wife bought a house in Birmingham with money of pashtuns stolen by her husband.
In malaysia Emal wali asfand,s son playing in millions.
They also doing business with the son of shahi syed in DUBAI.

Commissionyaans still remember their good old days but ANP will never be in the politics of pashtunkhwa in the future.
So it will be good for commissionyaans to look for something new.

                  A)That's not her mother.
B)Politics is a dirty profession, but ANP were Pashtun nationalists, and we shouldn't judge the party by a few bad apples.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

                    Admin Khana,

being a "Pashtun nationalist" in the context of a Pakistani state that tries everythin to eradicate any other form of nationalism than "Pakistanism" is the core problem with these so-called "nationalist" movements.

They are either cowards for not going down the path of nationalism all the way which means to stand up for one´s own nation and split up.
Or they use nationalistic sentiments of the ordinary people to milk those poor people.

                    Both options are bad.
                    The only constant is change.
