  • Pashtunistan/Afghanistan, the 51st state of America?

Addressing america's influence in Afghanistan.... So far, the british only ruled half of it....

Ignore peurto rico becoming a state..... was peutro rico conquered by Americans, winning it over the Spanish?

american states are probably more sovereign under their federal government than afghanistan is under the american federal gov't.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

          Exactly!

Pashtunistan is a false concept that never existed. It was only used by Pashtun nationalists and is now mostly used by Peshewar pashtuns. Even afghans pashtuns don't like that term.

Pukhtoonistan and Afghanistan means the exact same thing, land of the Pukhtoons, if you wanted a name that represents all the ethnic groups wouldn't the logical choice be Khorasan.

god damn it riley quit generalising, im a pukhtoon from west of the durrand and i not only like the term Pukhtoonistan , i love it.

The main reason behind 2014 is that US will be able to stop pumping billions of dollars into Afghanistan annually. Having 9 bases inside Afghanistan serves there purposes in a much less expensive way.

The USA has several states. It has Pakistan, Afghanistan, Korea, Japan, Germany, etc.

Some Canadians in 2004 had gone as far as protesting to join the USA, to be a state I suppose.

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Khorasan is Persian term nowadays mostly used by uneducated tajiks who don't know the meaning of the word. It only compromised part of afghanistan, not all. But it mostly included all of central Asia like uzbekistan and tajikstan. If we are talking about the true name of Afghanistan, then it is Aryana. The term KHARsan is an evil term fabricated on our land by foreigners, it will never be accepted.

Canada I'm 100% for a peaceful annexation of this country. Similar culture, low population, LOTS of fresh water and unused land, even better natural borders against invasion and if global warming actually happens we'll have someplace to move.

                        Pakistan, Afghanistan, Korea, Japan, Germany
These are militarily occupied nations not 'states' since their inhabitants don't participate in the US political process.

If there is any country that could be called a 51st state it would Israel considering the amount of funding and assistance given to them over the years, and the great influence their dual citizenship nationals have on both politics and media. Sometimes in the news you'll hear accusations of a president abandoning Israel but the likelihood of that happening is the same as if the US govt abandoning Connecticut, California or New York.

SiiNii, you missed the sarcasm. But yeah, they are militarily occupied by our global empire. While folks in the South Bronx are starving, we are busy making sure Germany is under check.
