Taliban - Afghanistan - YouTube[/URL]
Matching up to an extent with AbduSalaam Zaeef's My Life this journeyman film documents the rise of the Taliban.
Why is it interesting since there are so many of these out there?
This film captures the genesis before the shurah council appeares to have elected Muhammad Omar as their leader.
In it we see a few characters who have reappeared, such as Mr. Karzai.
If nothing else - it offers a window into the genesis and environment of a movement in that era.
Once again this is an official film produced by Journeyman Pictures, renowned for their work on Afghan Recent History
