A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

Illiteracy can do wonders DZJ; its no surprise that Afghans are always stuck fighting wars, that ultimately serve the strategic interest of a larger, more global player.

^^I do not but anything people say with a threat of the gun is not credible but you could tell most of them are young resembling typical madrasa students and it is no secret that most of taliban recruitments were from madrassas

The demise of the afghans was sealed when the soviets invaded and the resistance was no longer, for the first time since ahmad shah baba, led by a royal family member

Also the base of extremism/terrorism in Pakistan is (Punjab) most of these shady mullahs are from there. All these recent attacks on party rallies are being caused by these extremist punjabi groups, not the people living in Waziristan. Innocent people of Waziristan are being killed be american drones, yet also being blamed for terrorism

what that man admitted to 16 years ago is what we all recognize as the truth today. whether he said it out of the goodness of his heart or fear instilled in him, it does not matter. what does matter though is the fact that given the choice, you are more likely to believe their innocence rather than their involvement in issues like this. they tie bombs around the necks of innocent animals who even if they could, would not be able to reject their path of enlightenment.
why don't people like you see that??

Lol, and on top of this when did a persian piece of trash like Ahmad Shah Mossoud, who made side deals with the Russkeys and post war deals with Iran and the Russkeys, who himself recruited young men from his own Azzam associated schools and used Tajik territory as a backward operating base become the authority or the one in the right?

Anyone who has read on the IRPT of Tajikistan knows well Mossoud's own recruiting tactics. Basically, likely in the eyes of the southern movements fighting against him - what was good for the goat was good for the gander.

On top of this after nearly 20 years of war up to that point Im sure a massive portion of the southern Pashtun populations of Afghanistan could speak urdo.

Interestingly enough - Karzai and his goons like the now deceased predator Jan Muhammad Khan were DIRECTLY responsible for the symptom of suicide bombing correlated to occupation. The Karzai boot lickers of course are going to focus on the symptom of the disease and not the germ that caused it. Thankfully academics like Robert Pape identified the cause for them - to their dismay. Its great that the Americans themselves are honest enough to expose the problem.

Dont worry Khushal, a whole bunch of Afghan Americans are jittery about losing a paycheck in 2014 - one that they earned at the expense of the rural Afghan. The Pew poll survey results pretty much show the sentiment there and these folks are trying their best to create an alternate reality to somehow fleece a war weary public from orbiting the ideas of Ron Paul and others who want to save the US from entanglement so these fools can get dubai mansions.

The Karzai CIA Ghost slush fund exposure is amazing. The Meet the Press hows have discussed it and in economic hard times its creating some backlash.

+ wasn't Ahmad Shah Masood himself funded, and supported by the Pakistani ISI? That's what Ive heard, in addition to what you said, which is why I've personally never quite agreed with the Northern Alliance Pakistani rhetoric; I mean, isn't the reason from them feeling sour all of a sudden because Hekmatyaar was receiving a bigger pie of the money?
