  • What is going on in the world ??

Wars...what's the relationship between all these attacks and Israel, America, Muslim countries and the rise of radical Islam and extremism(including Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Mali etc) or is there no relationship between them.

What about these so called revolutions, war on terror and so fourth. So what is happening? does anybody else think its pretty blatant that all these wars and 'arab spring' BS is convenient for the west because not only are the Muslims fighting each other but also all the army's are being exhausted to hold up any future resistance against American invasions for resources.. think about it - Israel can justify invading any of the country's around it now because 'they feel threatened and its not safe'.

Also Iran, all this pipeline palaver and also strings being pulled on sunni/shia beef, Muslims killing each other (i.e Syria). There's so much happening, i'm not sure what is going on so my opinions are staying neutral. Many people don't want to discuss these things but its just freedom of speech and opinions, every human should be entitled to that. would be interesting to hear your views and also any govt people reading this would also be interested in the thoughts of the public, don't be scared together we can make the world a better place .

Also what are your views on claims that USA is funding Islamic radical extremists from Iraq, Egypt etc to fight just how they did with Taliban, is history repeating itself or is this claim just made up by wacky conspiracy theorists like me *sarcasm*

To be honest no idea, all the things happening are just a big drama. one thing is for sure that there are very few good people in this world, doesn't matter muslim or non muslims, evil surely wins most of the time in this world

General people through discussions..from work to restaurants to football, basically could be anywhere such topics are brought up, or when something comes on the news. many conclusions stem from personal research - if i hear something in the news or media i dont swallow it, i check how credible it is. Most of the people i come across have similar views.. Muslims and non-Muslims alike, people are much more skeptical about America/Israel in Britain, more people seem to be gullible to everything mainstream or channeled through the media in USA (from my observations) also in alot of Europe countries people are ready to slaughter Muslims because the Zionist run media are scaring the crap out of people about Islam like its some big brewing monster that's going to terrorise them and invade them if they don't do something about it, Islam is portrayed to be some sort of disease, I mean its over the top sometimes, it doesn't take a genius to work out who's on the other end writing that BS and portraying that image of Muslims.

Yeah I think all of us here are skeptical. Can you post some news that you read or heard from the mainstream media, that turned out to be false after examining the evidence? We could probably start a new thread on this topic.

I think that if you wanted to find out "what is going on in the world' you would have to start educating yourself in the following areas, at least:

            1. Sources of energy and energy production
            2. International finance capitalism and trade
            3. The wars, coups and counter-revolutions of the last half century

9-11 for starters theres overwhelming websites and sources how much of a lie it was, one of the most interesting sources I came across was from the family of some of the victims which went out to seek the truth, the evidence they found that it was staged was unbelievable, I don't bookmark pages or save them after to provide you with sources but it can be found. like you said all this can start a new thread.

Also the fake video of Osama that was aired but then people found out it wasn't even him so they removed it straight away and never spoke of it again. Other things like WMD's in Iraq, people were telling them there is no WMD's in Iraq before they admitted it, I'm sure even you can agree what a big flop that was and it also blatantly proves the other sinister motives for wrecking a country worse than Saddam did.

The one thing I am trying to piece together is what the heck is going on with Syria.

The way that I put it together is the following:

                    1) The West doesn't like Iran post Shah and Iran also doesnt like them per the historical record. Iran will collaborate with the West (e.g. recent plot broken up in Canada + some baseline support for its own interests in Iraq and Afghanistan) to suit its interests.
                    2) The West and Iran both dont like Sunni ascendency unless its their type of sunni (Bahrain King, Qatar King, Saudi King) that allows for resource extraction
                    3) The Sunni folks that are fighting them dont like either of them either
                    4) The monarchies fear a rising Iran beacuse their individual shiite populations may create problems.

                    Its a big chess game

Iran is trying to stop the collapse of the Allawite regime because it is a crucial bridge to Lebanon/Hezbullah and it doesnt want a sunni state next to its now new fledgeling client state of IRaq that could arm sunnis there. In the least it is doing its best to weaken the armed sunni insurgency before Assad falls.

The US and Israel are doing their utmost to balkanize Syria to weaken both groups simultaneously and then allow for seizure of any high grade military arms should the Assad regime fall. The US is taking a cue from what Iran and Pakistan did to it in Afghanistan and is doing its best to have the insurgent sunnis and Pro Iranian clients fight a long drawn out fight so as to weaken both sides. This move will weaken both sunni interests and isolate Iran allowing more squeeze to be put on it. This will also allow for permanent inflammation in and around Iraq should Iraq decide to continue its trajectory of throwing its lot in with Iran (i.e. it will have a wild card to influence the federation of Iraq into multiple pieces thus further weakening Iran).

The Sunni Kingdoms around also want a place to send their kingdom threatening miscreants (i.e. flush them into a bloodbath) and to at the same time seriously weaken shiite ascendency. They are therefore doing their best to entice US intervention and allow for such folk to make their way there.

I can't vote for any of these choices.

the west is taking advantage of the stupidity of the muslim world. in the bigger picture, playing the victim is pointless and kind of dishonest.

the death the west brings upon us, fellow muslims do the same. the discrimination we face in western countries, nothing compared to what we face if one were to visit iran or saudi arabia depending on your sect. the west stealing our resources? muslims steal it better and even have the nerve to publicly indulge in their ill gotten gains.

the fact is that muslims have all the ingredients to be a super power. wealth, geography, resources, and population.

but because of the human factor, this is what happens

There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

The vid could have been half as long but then again all the fluff might have been necessary to keep the interest of today's youtube, and my MTV generation.

Manzareh do you know of any more youtube vids or a podcast where I can find out more re: the financial system and dope mentioned?

I'm kind of startled by the amount of anti-semitism on this forum. Jews are a religious people while Zionism is a political group. You can't use them interchangeably. I've met many people of the Jewish faith who don't support the state of Israel and Zionism.

But anyway, I chose, "West is fuelling civil wars so regions become weak and easier to control (for resources). " However, I don't believe only the west is doing this, neighbouring countries in the Middle East and Asia won't mind eating each other up either, if they had the capacity to do so. Greed, it's human nature.
