  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Elections 2013

So whats it gonna be like in KP cuz as far as I understand there are more parties contesting in KPk than any other province and everyone thinks they are in with a chance.

KPk has 35 seats in National Assembly and 124 in its provincial assembly. The current ruling ANP has seen a lot of its candidates jumping ship and reports are that ANP likely won't be forming the next government. Top contenders are being considered to be PTI, JUI-F, JI and ANP. It is unclear what PML-N will do but they have a very strong hazara base.

Thoughts from people in KPk ?

How well is PTI going to play is the main question. ANP may not be forming the upcoming government but some of their big giants will be hard to defeat like Bilours etc.

The religious factor must be seen as well. Plus you can't just eradicate PML-N from KPK.

As far as PK-13 and NA-5 is concerned I don't think ANP has got a chance. Both the candidates Shahid Khattak and Daud Khattak don't look that much good to me.

Shahid Khattak was present in my village Amankot, PK-13 a few months back for the distribution of prizes after a Volley Ball Tournament when a guy with long beard stood infront of him and said 'Allah-o-Akbar', at first he was about to run and nearly jumped from the stage when he realised the guy was joking and he was like, 'Za Pakhtun Yam Nar Yam Da Marg Na Na Yaregam' the crowd started laughing and that guy was beaten badly by his guards later.

^ If you're talking about Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao than his party's name is Pakistan Peoples Party Sherpao Group. I don't know about the Qaumi Watan Party though.

PK-13 - The toughest to beat was Parvez Khattak now I think this time he will be switching to National Assembly Seat so it will be a new person emerging out of here. A guy Zulfiqar Aziz from my village will be contesting from PK-13 as well on the ticket of PPP-Sherpao.

          Let's wait and watch.

Btw, Imran Khan decided to go for NA-1 against Ghulam Ahmed Bilour (ANP) as well. Tough competition. Bilour will not just fall like a house of cards. He will do all he can to win and he will according to me.

I just did some more research on it. It's the same Aftab Ahmed Khan Sherpao who registered Qaumi Watan Party .. I don't know why in PK-13/NA-5 they always called it Pakistan Peoples Party Sherpao Group.

Estimate is around 14 - 18 for PTI, 3-4 for ANP and rest between JUI-F and PMLN

PML-N isn't that strong in the rest of the KPK. How many seats are there from the Hazara Division?

Although, it may be a wish of every Punjabi like Talal Singh and Khaliswal such as Shabaz Khan thatvPTI wins in KP but the plain fact is, there would be two strong parties in KP to win ---ANP and JUI with ANP Peshawar Valley and northern districts and JUI southern districts.

PTI stands no where---It hasn't the electorate strength of that of Qaumi Watan Prty ( Aftab Sherpao) what to talk of others.

PK-4 Peshawar: ANP's candidate and former Provincial Minister for sports Syed Aqil Shah sent to Jail for holding a fake degree. The former MPA was arrested by Police Personnel at the conclusion of the hearing, DAWN News reports.

PK 13 Nowshehra is getting tough. PML-N's candidate is Rashid Ali Shah. He was the former candidate of ANP for NA-5 later ignored by the party when the party gave ticket to Engineer Zulfiqar Aziz in the past elections.

And before opening that bloody Khaliswal mouth of yours about ANP position on issues, have a look at history ---From Khudai Khidmatgars who fought against the formidable might of British imperialism to NAP which stood for democracy and Pashtun rights (remember the torture and imprisonment at the hands of Zia and Bhutto ) to the present ANP that stood valiantly against terrorism ---

And now tell what slogans or role does your womenizer sex-maniac wine engulfing Imran Khan has about important issues ? Now a days the sonami khan has another under his wings---
