Like why is it called an Afghani or something. Make it named the Afghan Dinar, Dinar as used by Iran, or Afghan Ruppee, which is the name Pakistan and india use for their currency....

btw, where do currency names even come from? Like what would a pashtoon call his own currency besides Afghan? What Pashto word would be good to name their own currency? Do pashtoons even use currency that often, when they're divided by two countries that uses different currency, and a pakistani rupee could weigh more than an afghan afghani?

Some people confuse Afghan and Afghani. You may hear many people calling Pashtuns or any national of Afghanistan as Afghani. There is a logic to change the currency name like Afghan dollar, ryal, rupee, dinar etc. the best word will be rupai , a Pashto version of Rupee.

name the currency Gran Afghania. Afghania used to be the old name of khyber pakhtunkhwa or NWFP. The name can symbolize greater Afghanistan or a united Afghanistan with its pashtun lands.
