how do you dedicate your life towards doing something and then come to hate it at the end?? why be there in the first place?? sure, it sounds good when you say i am a veteran and against war but honestly, you are just celebrating the fact that you failed at that one thing that you were willing to put your life at stake for.
there used to be a time when people took pride in fighting for their countries. because they fought for the right reasons and by proper morals and principles. they never had anything to regret for. these days, soldiers fight wars first, drag and piss on the corpses later and find out that being a soldier is not the right path for them at the end. then they come home and have people salute their and claim of being anti war. excuse me while i locate the flying fu ck that i give.

IVAW is suspicious judging by their wiki and the conduct of their members. I didn't see any officers or senior NCOs in their ranks, likely due to a lack of professionalism in their organization.
1st issue: poor vetting, allowing imposters (Jesse Macbeth), liars, and other people of poor judgment to become prominent spokespersons like
Adam Kokesh: reprimanded for attempting to smuggle a weapon into the US, also violated regulations by protesting in uniform
Darrell Anderson: claims to have been ordered to execute a family, if this actually happened he should have reported this war crime, yet he didn't...
2nd issue: flag burning which repels the very demographic they should be influencing, and mimicing 1960s hippies does not attract vets to your cause.
3rd issue: allowing females as spokespersons when during that time when females were not allowed in direct combat positions, this weakens the groups message. and there is also the generally low opinion of female troops held by male servicemen.
4th issue: claiming that the people who are getting rich on this conflict aren't fighting it, which is true... but why didn't they put names to faces? why didn't they connect the dots? why didn't they find out exactly how much profit was made and for whom? back this up with facts and hammer it home, this would have reliably recruited supporters to their organization.

To add to my last point, if they were to make that info a permanent website w youtube channel and podcasts, free of unfounded freemason-nwo-ufo conspiracies, AND add a secure email inbox for anonymous info, a research team for cross checking the info, they might make some decent headway with preventing future OIF scale conflicts. Of course they won't do this since that would take disciplined work, organized effort, and foresight. All these are trained in military service, yet the veterans of the IVAW severely lack this...

Things like this have to be verified completely, and then repeated, again and again and again in the US, distributed in Anglophone nations, and translated for world consumption. Senator Feinstein is also a major leader the push for un-Constitutional US citizen disarmament.Perini (controlled by financier Richard Blum) is one of the more controversial companies to have scored big-time Iraq war money. That’s because Blum’s wife, Senator Dianne Feinstein, appears to have used her seat on the Military Construction Appropriations subcomittee to steer the $650 million environmental cleanup deal in his favor. This has lead to outrage and cries for conflict of interest investigations among those in the media, as well as Feinstein’s peers in Congress. Feinstein has also neglected to comment on this potential conflict of interest. This has lead to what Metroactive.com calls an “omission [that] has called her ethical standards into question.”

Waxman vote for the Iraq war. Unsurprisingly he never served. He criticizes the conduct of the war after voting for it. He brings up the mismanagement of war funds, does he name Feinstein's family as a benefactor of these funds? They do work in the same Party, how could he be ignorant of this?
Waxman is also another devoutly citizen disarmament congress critter and was the sponsor of a bill to ban 50 caliber weapons from private ownership.
