We've been watching .......the fact you're quoting some talentless Western singer is evidence of the failures of Pashtuns. Pashtuns can't even unite under one principle. Pashtuns don't believe in countries, they believe in their kalay and that's all.

The idea of having separate nations and states based on linguistic affiliation is a Western construct. Before the imperialists, our people didn't fight each other over language or ethnicity. Pashtuns and others lived side by side peacefully and you might even say Pashtuns had an advantage over other groups at the time.
Even the Mughals didn't impose their language on the Indian people and thus eventually a new language called Urdu developed. But after Western imperialists divided India, language became an issue and it caused many conflicts such as the one that resulted in the secession of Bangladesh - a country of Bangla speaking people.
Before the partition of India and even before the West Pakistani authorities applied the politics they learnt from the British slavers, the region of Bengal was just an ordinary part of Hindustan and the people didn't fight over which language should be official.
Another example is that of Central Asia. The Tajiks, Uzbeks, Kazakhs, etc. all lived side by side and they didn't even differentiate between each other. The Uzbeks and Tajiks were Sarts. They were all nomadic tribes united under the banner of an Islamic Turkistan. After the Russians came, they divided them based on language and now you have Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, etc.Last edited by Black Pakistani; 03-10-2015, 06:57 PM.I am Mleccha, slayer of Aryan swine.
