Interview with Israr Ahmad - Weekh Zwanan

Israr Ahmad is one of the members of the central committee of 'Weekh Zwanan' (Awakened Youth). Weekh Zwanan stands for "a prosperous, self-sufficient and independent Loy (Great) Afghanistan". It is a fast growing independent youth movement and one of the most prominent anti war groups in Afghanistan.

In this interview Israr Ahmad explains about the Durand Line, the imaginary border that should have never been created and that will never be recognized by Afghans.

This s the problem with almost all borders, not only Durrand line. Same way are divided Pamirians, Tajik; Baloch....
Most of nations have their "durrand line"

organising one what?
i have attended many different gatherings including the one about durand line called "durand jirga". At this jirga there was also this youth group and a couple of them also took to the stage. there we were discussing a line created by the british to devide Pashtuns and here we had this guy saying that current british involvement was a good thing and we should use it wisely.

Pashtuns are like Mongols.

In Mongolia, the official mongolia, there's like 3 million mongols, but there are way more mongols that live OUT of mongolia, like 5 million, typically in China, and ofcourse, China's province named "Inner Mongolia"

Same with Pashtuns, where there's way more living out of Afghanistan. 13 million in Afghanistan, while 30 million in Pakistan, hence KPK is to Afghanistan how Inner Mongolia is to outer mongolia.

One can hardly call most of them Pashtuns if they speak Urdu and **** off to Ulama Iqbal´s poetry and think a pork eating Half-Shia created an "Islamic State" that takes care of them.

Look at Pakistan´s state.
Unlike Afghanistan there wasn´t a 30 year+ war going on and it´s messier than Afghanistan.

Let those "Pashtuns" rott there.

Atleast some of us should make it out of this mess alive when this ****hole Pakistan blows off once and for all.......pe khair.

Dear Mostafa, it is quiet easy that simple people loose their culture when left in a foreign state without right or even simply without importance of their own culture. Do You think in Inner Mongolia that does not happen? My Mongol friends talk about Mongols from Inner Mongolia same way as You talk of KPK Pashtuns. But who gives You a right to talk like that about these people? Did You yourself do everything to make a change to those of your brothers? Unevitably foreign influences do accure, You yourself have an Arabic name for example, me I have a Greek one...
Isn't it beter being more constructive towards those people instead of giving them up like that?
If you win at least one persons heart for coming back to his own roots, your life should be honoured as of a true son of your people!
