Punjabi Taliban letter: Attacks on Pashtuns to continue, no beef with Punjabi parties

The Mehsud faction of the TTP has endorsed the letter.

The Punjabi Taliban want a Jihad against their enemy India. They are the same people who have been using Pashtuns as cannon fodder in Kashmir and India for decades even though the Pashtuns have no issues with India. The Pakistan-India conflict is essentially an intra-Punjabi conflict.

It's interesting to note that the Punjabi Taliban has been behind most of the attacks in Peshawar that have resulted in civilian casualties. Needless to say, for Punjabis (whether in khakis or kameez shalwar), Pashtun blood is cheap.

The militants said they would not target the JUI-F, Jamaat-i-Islami, the PML-N and Imran Khan’s Tehrik-i-Insaaf because they had no problem with these parties.

ANP to move for decisive line of action against militancy

PESHAWAR: The ruling Awami National Party (ANP) has decided to share its concerns with its coalition partners, other political parties and state institutions in the wake of Bashir Bilour’s assassination and try to build consensus on tackling the issue of militancy and terrorism.

ANP sources told The News that the party leader Asfandyar Wali Khan had been authorized to take steps to contact allies and other political parties as well as state institutions to stress the need for preparing a decisive line of action in view of the threat posed by terrorists to the Pakistani state and society.

It was learnt that Asfandyar Wali would be holding meeting on the issue with President Asif Ali Zardari when he returns to Islamabad from Larkana, where he had gone to attend the public meeting on the occasion of late Benazir Bhutto’s fifth death anniversary. Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf and his predecessor Yousaf Raza Gilani could also be asked to attend the meeting. In fact, this would be a consultative meeting of ANP and PPP leaders and later other parties in the ruling coalition such as the MQM and PML-Q would also be involved in the consultation process.

Later, there are plans to consult the military leadership.

According to the ANP sources, senior party leader Azam Hoti had been assigned the task to talk to the PML-N leadership about the need for evolving a comprehensive strategy to fight militancy and extremism.

Azam Hoti had served as minister for communication in Nawaz Sharif’s cabinet in the past and still maintains cordial relations with the Sharif brothers. He reportedly had a preliminary talk on the issue with Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif when the latter paid a brief visit to Peshawar a few days ago to offer condolences to the Bilour family on the death of Bashir Bilour.

Ghulam Ahmad Bilour, federal minister for railways and elder brother of Bashir Bilour, has reportedly been tasked to talk to the leaders of the religio-political parties.

Senator Afrasiab Khattak, the provincial president of the ANP, would be contacting the nationalist parties for the purpose.

The ANP had convened a meeting of its ‘think-tank’ in Peshawar to discuss the situation arising from party stalwart Bashir Bilour’s assassination and the threat facing its leadership, particularly in context of the coming general election. Asfandyar Wali, who later held a press conference to explain the decisions of the ‘think-tank’ made a conditional offer of talks to the militants provided they renounced violence and accepted the writ of the state.

However, a shift was detected in the party stance when Asfandyar Wali said that his party won’t insist on the militants laying down arms as a condition for the peace talks. In the past, Chief Minister Ameer Haider Hoti and other ANP leaders had been insisting that the militants must disarm before talks could be held with them. The Prime Minister and some federal ministers, including Rehman Malik, too had stressed the need for the militants to put down their arms prior to any peace talks.

It is pertinent to mention that the TTP head Hakimullah Mahsud on Friday made it clear that he was in favour of talks with the government but would not lay down arms.

It may be recalled that the ANP-led provincial government had held peace talks with the Maulana Fazlullah-led chapter of TTP in Malakand division and even made a deal in the past but it didn’t insist that the militants should first lay down arms.

The current open-door policy and unrestricted, uncontrolled immigration is leading to higher crime rates, demand for more housing (driving prices out of the reach of young people), severe extra strain on the environment, traffic congestion, longer hospital waiting lists, lower educational standards, higher income taxes, lower wages, higher unemployment, loss of British identity, a breakdown in community spirit, more restrictive policing, higher council taxes, a shortage of council homes, higher levels of stress and unhappiness and a more atomised society.



India would not tolerate millions of non-Indians taking over that society. Pakistan would not tolerate millions of Hindus or Christians entering that country and changing it from a Muslim society into something else. Japan would not do it; China would not do it – so why should Britain?



Can anyone imagine Saudi Arabia allowing the mass immigration of Christians, so that in a few decades it would no longer be an Islamic country?

They're doing a pretty good job of it, Sharia civil law has been implemented in parts of Londonistan in the last two years if I'm not mistaken.
