Mullah Nazir orders Mehsud tribes to vacate Wana

D.I. KHAN: Days after a suicide attack targeted Taliban commander Mullah Nazir, a combined jirga of including the group and a 120-member Aman Committee warned internally displaced persons (IDPs) and militants belonging to the Mehsud tribe to leave Wana.
The jirga, comprised of elders and religious clerics of the Ahmadzai tribe, was held in Wana Rustham Bazzar on Saturday.
The jirga decided that after December 5, any tribal who gives shelter to either the IDPs or militants of the Mehsud tribe, will be fined one million rupees and will have their house in Wana demolished by the Lashkar.
The verdict was announced in the main towns of Kari kot, Shakai, Azam Warsak, Spin and Toi Khulla of the Wana sub-division.
Mullah Nazir was wounded Thursday in a suicide attack in Wana that killed six other people, reported Express News.
Nazir’s faction is one of four major Taliban groups that joined the al Qaeda-brokered Shura-i-Murakeba alliance late last year.

These Wazir friends of Dr Barakzai Abdali would give their houses to Arab terrorists but if you read the following:-

"any tribal who gives shelter to either the IDPs or militants of the Mehsud tribe, will be fined one million rupees and will have their house in Wana demolished by the Lashkar."

even if your a homeless, IDP you are grouped with Militants and your life will be a crime to live in Wana.


Where is the Musulmans unity or the Ummah or the Taliban Islami emerite...these guys pray 5 times a day, and keep fasts etc, yet why the disunity LOL

1). Where did you get the idea that I have any power in waziristan? You are also married to a wazir ... Does that make you a power broker?

Wonderful..let these people fight each other…once they are weak enough..Pakistan army can launch the final assault…These so-called “elders” are actually like children in 21st century. These people along with other people of the area should be imparted with modern education after the “clean-up” so that they don’t make a laughing stock out of themselves and of the whole country. I am sure if proper steps are taken who know Waziristan can become a technology hub by 2050.

The ideological diffference within the TTP has existed since the beginning. The main issue is that one group wants to only target NATO forces and the other thinks that both Pakistani and NATO should be targeted.
