  • Pashtuns made homeless and cleaning shoes in Lahore

This is the true state of Pashtuns, Since Mullahs and other promotors of global Jihad ignore the fact that Pashtuns are homeless and polishing the shoes of Lahori businessmen. This is real state and Iam ashamed of Pashtuns not discussing nor bringing these real issues up.

IDPs from bajaur have also been prevented from going to Public Parks on the grounds that they give a bad image to local Punjabis and other Pakistanis who live there.

One side, you have the westerners who promote their democracy, then on the other side you have the Jamiets who promote Jihad and terror, innocent pashtuns are stuck in the middle. Nationalism is the way to go as Nationalism has nothing to do with Relgionous Jihads nor Westernism.

    Kind Regards

He is one sided, he only sees Punjabis as Emperors and ruling elite who go out of their way to oppress and suppress us poor helpless Afghans. LOL.

Exactly, there are probably even more Pushtun children in Karachi than this, but numerically and statistically Punjabi children poor and working in even more bitter situation than these Pushtun children are probably ten to twenty times more.

There is no bias against Afghans(Pushtuns) in Pakistan, but there is bias against the poor, EVERYWHERE in the world, including Pakistan.

Wasn't the real point here that these Pashtun children were made homeless IDPs and that that is why they are struggling?

Did you see how taliban ruled swat?

                  We are responsible for ourselves.
Why the people of swabi, charsadda, mardan, nowshera dont get displaced?

I agree taliban are a product of ISI and cia. but our own people are involved as well. Lots of people would love to be tools of RAW just due to their hate for ISI. Its time to stop supporting both of them and start caring for our own selves.

Great post and a very nice and constructive mindset. This is the kind of people we need; not the kind who dont just continue to feel sorry for ourselves and hate speech others but the kind who actually want to go a step forward and think and act objectively, un biased, progressive and at the same time in touch with our religion and roots.

You want to be a real Afghan Muslim; do something good for all those around you not act like a cry baby.!!!

                      Sher
In my mind these children and most of the adult IDP's were/are innocent victims caught in the middle of a struggle between the Taliban and the army. It seems as if you are saying they deserved it (to be IDP's) and perhaps some did but many did not.
I'm sorry but I cannot help but feel sympathy for these kids.

An excerpt from "As if hell fell on me" an amnesty international report about the situation of human rights in Northwest Pakistan:

"The Taliban came here and settled here. Now they
have a dispute with the government, and the
government started taking actions against them.
If we stand with the government the Taliban will
hit us. If we stand with the Taliban the
government will target us. If we don’t stand with
any of them, you can see how bad our situation is.
It’s going from bad to worse."

We uncover truth and hold the powerful to account. Take action, donate and join the Amnesty movement to protect human rights.

I agree its not their fault. But somehow people of those areas collaborated with taliban. For example people of swat and malakand were demanding shariah law and taliban misused their religious intentions. We know the results of their rule. But we must take a lesson from such incidents so nomore blood shed could happen in our areas ever again.

The only solution for people is peace, security and zero corruption.

                              small correction

taliban were ultimately the product of CIA's think tanks and military

the pak military then assumed control of a mess created by others

but thats a side issue to this thread, we cannot look at poverty from such a narrow spectrum of ethnicity
