unless he quit the military after that, i don't buy it.There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

One of our interpreters told me about a guy who was on KAF the year before me, who studied Islam, converted and then converted his family back in the US too. Guess this is him. Conversion is almost unheard of. As for converting to gain intel, I don't think a white guy who probably doesn't speak the language is going to get better intel than native informants or cell phone snooping.Comment
