hekmatyar used general tanaai? i hope you were joking because that is some of the most ignorant **** ive ever heard.

tanai did his coup because he didnt like najib which was from parcham faction,he only joined the "mujahideen" after he escaped and his coup failed.

how can you compare that to the coup by parchamis on parchami leader and than the parchamis sitting in rababni government?

hekmatyar didnt want them in the government neither did he want khalqis and he treated khalqis very badly ,putting them captive in underground holes with schorpions or using generals as soldiers.

be a little more intelectually honest because your bias is obvious.

where you in kabul when the COUPS happend and the civil war?
i have no bias because i think all these figures are **** but some are different shades of ****.

daoud didn't want the commies in the government either, yet he used them for his own ends which cost him his life. you are acting like hekmatyar was not an opportunist lol. tanai, like hekmatyar was a turncoat. he was anti mujahadin but would join them if he could have some stake in power, while hekmatyar would live in iran for years. so tanai turned up in pakistan with hekmatyar, why wouldn't hekmatyars hezb not of just killed him and his people? you think these hardcore communists would of just found islam in the short span between a failed coup and arriving in peshawar?

and living in afghanistan has nothing to do with this because that would mean that everyone at the time would of seen the light and not have opposing views. i mean that is what you are hinting at right now, right? that had i been there at the time i would think the same way you do. what about the millions who were also there but didn't/don't think the same as you?

There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

The man was a symbol of disunity, the problems the afghan nation is facing today is because of what he did. He was more than a title, he should have followed in the footsteps of Mojadidi.

You have to look at his from a rational point of view. Think of it this way, When George Washtington stepped down after his turn as president(which was revolutionary at the time considering what was going on in the rest of the world) and John Adams took the presidency, what do you think would have happened if John Adams had refused to step down from power?

The title, the commander of the faithful was given to him to try to rebuild what was destroyed by rabani. To bring unity back to the country. clearly titles like the president or king was not working. I doubt it was intended for the faithful of all in the world but I think it was more for afghanistan, and he is more of a spiritual leader, intended for unity, than an actual commander.
To me the Taliban was a reaction to what Rabani caused. The Taliban could have been prevented if Rabani had done what John Adams did.
that is a cop out and you know it. the title of the commander of the faithful is a powerful and very symbolic one, its not a passive thing. very few in the past have claimed this title and the ones who did were ego maniacs that thought of themselves the literal meaning of the title. also, i still want to know your thoughts on the likes of khalis and haqqani being a part of rabbanis government.

it would have been better if you didnt respond because it seems you are arguing for the sake of argument or winning.

now you are jumping to daud whcih again has nothing to do with rabani commiting a coup by parchamis or their leader and later having them in the governement.

you are mixing things to make yourself sound correct but thats not how the world world works.
how is living in Afghanistan got nothing to do with it.
you are again using faulty logic here,if you were living in amreeka at the time you most likely had another picture than what was going on on the ground.
and no i wasnt hinting at that, that is just you walking ahead of your steps.

point about hekmatyar,he was atleast not an ethnofascist and didnt ally himself with commies and Gilajams and protected people against the rapes commited by Gilamjam and masood's men.

being there is being witness,i have seen the masood men take over my neighbourhood and they treated people badly and made people feed them while people themselves had not much.Offcourse the shoot outs between them and the wahdatis.

Hekmatyars men were much cleaner and never harassed people and didnt take food from people.they were actually securing people and places and driving out the Gilamjams and Masoods gang.

and it doesnt matter if you were there or not but you seem to be thinking in line of hezbitoob, your views are biased and plain wrong.

grow up and be honest for a change, intelectually honest.
others might not see it but i can see your ignorance.

remember back than there wasnt such ethnic bias as it is now and people worked together to survive.
not talking about the groups though, they screwd up.

so all i get from the first vid is that people can't get fuel in kabul

the second vid, the womans area is safe because of the hezb and i think she is talking about dostums people?

didn't dostum and hekmatyar ally themselves around 95-96?

the point was that hekmatyar allied himself with these groups against massoud/rabbani/sayyaf.

alliance changed but we can see which groups are still allied today.
                    NORTHERN ALLIANCE <<<<<<<<

sayaf rabbani masood wanted to get rid of hezbe wahdath but they gave their fight name of sunni vs shia and claimed that iran wanted to create sort of powerbase in kabul.

alliances changed but their crimes did not vanish. wahdat murdered innocent pashtuns, dostums men did the same, yet hezb i islami allied with them to gain power. how is this okay in your eyes? how would that woman that clip feel if she knew hekmatyar later joined forces with atheist/communist dostum?

at the end of the day hezbe Islami didnt get the POWER, northern alliance did.

correction, wahdath also killed innocent hazaras who wouldnt work with them and also tajiks and other sunnis, that was also to be blamed on sayaf rabani masood who triggered this.
wahdath wasnt the only hazara/shia group.

i dont care abotu hezbe islami as they too have done their part, what im telling you is what triggered their reaction and it was rabani and masood.

our neighbourhood was getting bombed by MISAYEL by hekmatyar because we were occupied by masoodis.

dostum atheist?he just went to hajj.

wow, dostum did hajj so he is a believer? lolll so have several secularist leaders. dostum is an alcoholic murderer, you of all people defending his conviction lolll

it seems like you did seem to care about the hezb until i brought up the fact that they were allied with murderers of pashtuns like mazari and dostum. then the hezb itself was fought by the taliban.

that about dostum was a joke.

i dont give a crap about the hezb simply because all they did was fight for their hezb.Still they comapred to rabani dostum or others were the most respectful to the civilians and helped the civilians on numerous occasions.
never heard of them raping or plundering and compared to others they also looked much cleaner.
