I think Muslims should single-mindedly work on one thing ---how to strengthen and stablize their societies through skill, creativity, productivity, knowledge, education, rule of law, pluralism, democratic discourse on important issues, etc.
Things that disrupts/arrests the transformation of Muslim societies and destablise them must be avoided at all costs.
In the West, every Muslim should single-mindedly focus on education and skill-acquision---Make firm commitment that you would send at least one member of your family to the best school in the world i.e., to Yale, Harvard, Standford, etc. Maintain family cohesion and cooperation---Be good and supportive to others---It is your moral obligation to re-transfer the skill and knowledge that you gain here back to the society of your origin so it benefits as well---

The thing though is, to a real muslim all those things are meaningless and worldly. I am not saying those things are not important, but priorities for real muslims are different, their religion comes before any worldy thing.Originally posted by Toramana View PostI think Muslims should single-mindedly work on one thing ---how to strengthen and stablize their societies through skill, creativity, productivity, knowledge, education, rule of law, pluralism, democratic discourse on important issues, etc.

also to your second point, while the disruptions maybe chaotic and violent, They are indeed needed, when the society is enslaved by their rulers, their comes a point when regular people must rise up

They are still wordly, yes I agree those are good things and are much needed in the muslim world, but still they are worldy things. The religious muslims, who are practicing Islam like 24/7 wont care for such thingsOriginally posted by khushal View PostHow is skill, creativity, productivity, knowledge, education, rule of law, pluralism, democratic discourse Worldly? These things are to better your mind not material.

the majority of those so called salafis are total losers on wellfare .
i mean first of all , how can you convince anybody to follow you if you are not able to feed yourself or your own family ???
poverty is not a crime but take wellfare and than trying to tell people they are wrong well i dont think that it will work .
second , there are soooo many problems out there which need to be solved and which requieres work and time and effort , but still i dont see those things done by those so called salafis .
maybe its easier to make takfeer and tell others they are kafir , and live in delusion being something special and saving the world .
and i ask my self why does they all dress up like saudis ? i mean ,all nations have a special cultural cloth even among the arabs them self , but they dress up like saudis , and they talk and gesticulate also like saudis , immitating those satelite dish wahabi preachers from saudi arabia .
