Well, i think they were the best administrators and sincere people no doubt.
If you are talking about education, economy, making the infrastructure of the country, medical, laws etc etc, for that you have to have time especially for a new govt, new people, new system as system and people who has no friend around. Where no country wants to have business with, where there is pressure from everywhere and withing five years how can we expect from them wonders in a country where there is a civil war and the whole country was destroyed by the super powers of the world.

Don't look at Afghan with the eyes of Americans of eruopeans sitting in america.
America took 250 years to come to this level. How much time have you or the world has given to taliban ?
        Grow up
No society is perfect and if we are going to be honest, we need to remove any rose tinted spectacles.

America's social evolution has not been easy, and the country is by no means perfect, but at least Americans living there are allowed to say so. I take issue with the kind of authoritarianism that stems from ideologies like the Taliban if it means we choose to be blind to their faults and are silenced if we choose to speak up. Some of the items on that list of bans was bizarre. Imagine not being able to ask why.

If the Taliban (or other militant Salafis) were completely without fault they would have taken over many societies by now purely on the basis of argument and not violence. Where they are supported, they may well meet a local demand, but largely where they are resisted it is because of the freedom to think and to reason. This brings into question much of what might transpire should they come into power.

Sahih Muslim Hadith 5612 Narrated by Buraydah ibn al-Hasib

Allah's Messenger (saws) said: 'He who played chess is like one who dyed his hand

with the flesh and blood of swine.'
I believe the sun should never set upon an argument.
I believe forgiveness is the key to your unhappiness.

but that is the thing, they did not encounter hardly any violence except in mazar and panjshir. On the flip side, one can say that of the current afghan government who is encountering much violence.

Wow, some of this is extremely bizzare. Where is your source of your claims.
Most of the list had to do with regulation. They lacked infrastructure to regulate anything so they would completely ban it.

Kite flying was also banned in paksitan and india.
The internet is regulated in most of the world but I dont think there was any internet infrastructure in the whole country back in the 90's so how could something be banned if it did not exist.
Electricity, Gardens, Grass, come on that is made up.

I think if you give a country the freedom it deserves then many great things will be the outcome of that.. Opression is not the answer to anything.. Now people have become such savages due to not being able to enjoy the things others take for granted.. I think i speak for many when i say that in afghanistan there has not been a political group or power that has succeded yet.. Everyone failed so far and i think we need change.. And im not saying that america is good or the taliban were good, they both failed in some way also.. I think we need our afghans to take matter in ther own hand and rebuit our country that we so dearly love..

they didn't ban all of those things but they did ban a good amount which i find funny to see die hard talib supporters defend here despite indulging in these same vices.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
