Mahmud Achakzai "Islam the most important for Pashtuns/Afghans"

Speaking at a meeting in kabul commemorating the death anniversery of Ustad Rabbani mr Achakzai the leader of Pashtun nationalist party in Balochistan said "people should know that Islam is the most important thing for us Afghans and after that comes pashtunwali or Afghanyath". he said these words addressing a joint meeting between Afghans and foreign guests hosted by Sayyaf. He Also said "taliban are Afghans and they are our brothers,i will go to them personally to make peace".
He also added that he is Afghan so are the people living in pukhtunkhwa.

I like Mahmood Achakzai as a politician and Pashtun leader. PMAP is the only Pashtun ideological party. But now Achakzai is becoming the spokesprson of Taliban and Islamists. Pashtuns should also shift the kaaba from Saudi to kabul or Qandahar or Peshawar or Quetta and become the only champions of Islam.

Pashtuns are no doubt Muslims but by religion not by culture or politics or society. Pashtunwali is our culture while Islami is our religion. Both are parallel not linear that one come first and the other come later.

pashtuns dont share your ideas be it nationalists or taliban.
so when Achakzai talks about peace among pashtuns you get mad and call him things.
