They claim to control most of Afghanistan, so they become responsible by that claim. By doing so they incriminate themselves. Claiming control is taking responsibility; you can't use NATO as a scapegoat if their responsibility on Afghanistan is illegitimate. and you yourself admit they illegitimately control Afghanistan. Thus the blame is squarely the Taliban

as Randolph once said .....NATO are kufar and infidels; they're expected to oppress and tyrannize; Taliban claim to be Muslims and standing for Islam; what's their excuse?

However, despite Karzai's once honest talk of Blackwater and their crimes, you will rarely ever hear them question whether NATO did it. The question indeed must be put forth and asked. If police were to investigate it, it would not be the first time. Last year, a NATO chopper killed 9 Pashtun boys in Kunar as they were gathering firewood. Despite it being clear who did it, no accusation was ever made that this could have been an intentional crime.

It was claimed by NATO/Karzai government that Bibi Aisha's nose was cut off by the Taliban. Times put her picture on their front cover. This turned out not to be the case at all, as it was simply her father and his family that did this. More news reports showed that her father was not in the Taliban. Yet, the Pro-War/media still continue to cite this story as a justification for their support for the war. Even last week, without investigating whether the Afghan insurgency was behind the beheadings, the media immediately stated it to be the case.

The Karzai regime will almost blame all the crimes in Afghanistan on the Taliban when ironically and factually it is warlords linked to the Karzai regime and put in power by the NATO war who are committing most of the crimes, and have created an atmosphere of disorder and chaos.
I don't know if you have been paying attention to the beheading thread; but RESISTANCE and Pakistan2010 BOTH posted an article which verified that Taliban soldiers were in fact involved.

Well, the thread itself reeks of dishonesty and stupidity.

Is every crime in Afghanistan due to the Afghan insurgency, and every good thing due to the NATO war/illegal Karzai regime?

The Pro-War people are seriously pathetic beyond reason.

Lets blame every crime in the UK on Soldats friends at the EDL.

This view you hold is a Pro-War view and you are trying to justify the NATO war in Afghanistan.[/QUOTE]

lynx, you are a paranoid schitzophrenic. get treated.

i am in no way pro ANY war that is not a direct defence. 9/11 and the training camps of al quaeda are the reasons your american government chose at the point they did, to invade afghanistan.
after all, america did get attacked, or not?

the question is also, why your mob didn't choose to invade saudi arabia as most of the men who supposedly did 9/11 were supposedly, from there?
but we all know the answer to that one. right?

do you think, as an american and a westerner, that training camps for jihad against america (the most powerful and aggressive country on earth) are a good thing and sensible thing for the taliban to have allowed?
i mean, what were they thinking, lol.
so, what do you think should have been done by your government, mine and the nato forces about jihad against the west, training camps, lynx?

You're assuming Anti-Taliban means pro-war; I for one spent a year condemning the NATO-Karzai-Pakistani nexus. You have never once condemned the Taliban for their crimes or even acknowledged the Pakistani ISI affliation with the Taliban.

The problem is The Taliban have a historical context of doing these very type of crimes and ADMITTING it, the sudden avoidance in admitting involvement does not mean Taliban didn't do it; but that Taliban realize it makes them look as bad as NATO, so they're trying to play the propaganda game,

lynx is unable to discern who is pro/anti war. his brain has fused in a particular spot and if others don't express EXACTLY the same views as he, they are accused of being PRO WAR.

Most of all the news sources have stated that the Taliban have beheaded two children.

They also stated that the Taliban beheaded the gathering of 17 civilians last week. That turned out not to be the case.

Actually if you paid attention to Resisrtance and Pakistan2010; as I mentioned in my previous post; which shows you have selective reading. THEY BOTH had articles which CONFIRMED TALIBAN members were involved. They quoted it in some intention that the article vindicated the Taliban but in the same article it says "5 Taliban members were joined along side them" It doesn't matter if the family was the motivator; the Taliban enabled and participated. Go look at the posts made by RESISTANCE ....that was article he chose.

It doesnt matter who posted the article, whether Afghanistan2010 or Resistance. Many of the articles are stating that the Taliban beheaded two Afghan children. Many of these news sources also stated that the Taliban beheaded a gathering of 17 civilians. This turned out to be false.

Most of the articles shed light on the fact that the Taliban have denied beheading these children, but they still are stating that the Taliban beheaded these children.

i am not saying that the taliban did it because i don't know and won't make gossip, but why are you saying that it turned out false as if some independent governing body made a decision on it? turned out to be false? according to who?

afghans with authority have a reputation of being liars. talibs, government, everyone.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

so basically when something doesn't suit your Pro-Taliban narrative you ignore it?? The Article in question was the response to the original claim that ONLY The Taliban were responsible. So you reject the very thing you're basing your claim on

that's what we call cherry picking.

People should follow your example instead making the blame game, and insulting and accusing people who even don't know of a certain situation.

The afghan pure resistance has disowned and rejected any association with such crimes against locals and any such acts, and there were no beheadings claimed by the taliban since the book of Mullah Umar (d mujahidno le khwa) was released and with special orders from the Shura, that such acts are unhuman even against the worst enemy.

Criminals control Afghanistan. The only people that thrive during instability are criminal elements. They enter the government and they enter the insurgency. They thrive on a never ending war. The sherif has to do his job or step aside and let someone else do it.
