RTR, lynx, Guhnda (thug) or Ghundal (scorpian), UnknownFringe etc etc is a dead horse ---no use beating him further.
I know this person ---i.e., prof Rafiq Akhthar---met him many years ago via a friend who had invited him. He is a fraud---a typical South Asian making a name and money out for him from Islam.
I remember we expected him to be a sober guy but as he stepped out of the car there were many burger types with him in the accompanying cars. My friend didn't contact him again.
The plain fact is, Imran Khan is a hypocrite---when he goes to the West he presents himself to be the modern face of Pakistan ---In Pakistan he hobnobs with Lashkar-i-Toiba and Hamid Gul, Taleban, and cozying up to military and ISI as well.
Well this guy is also a guide to Gen Kyani. You many know about the close relationship of Pakistani spiritual people, peers with Pakistani establishment, army and ISI.

This is interesting about the guide for Imran Khan and Kayani. But what kind? Is he a sufi pir ?
If so what order? If not then can you tell me more about this Prof Akhtar?
Also what are "burger types", Toramana - you mean like patrons of fast food outlets like McDonalds?
But there weren't any in Pakistan back in those days.
I don't know if there are now.

hahaha his brain is short circuiting because the dirt bag he's been on the side lines cheering for has turned out to be on his the as they say here in America "Sh*tlist" for the team he's routing for.

He is not a typical sufi but a modern very educated person having knowledge of Islam and explain Islamic teaching in a different way, tries to solve people's problems by giving them good advice about living life.
He has likes for Imran Khan, he likes his honesty as he has shown in Shaukat khanam hospital and Namal university. Shaukat Khanam hospital is the best cancer hospital in the world I can claim.
Imran being a person is very simple and straight forward. He can prove himself to be a good administrator in the current situation where corruption is prevailing everywhere and you will find no sincere person in Pakistani politics who have concerns for the country but everyone is filling their own accounts by hook and by crook.
Professor Rafiq Akhtar and many of his kind have relations with the Pakistani establishment and Pakistani internal and external policy makers.

We all know of your bad mouthing and ill interpretation of the holy Quran and Hadith so this is no wonder for us when you use such words being claiming to be a big scholar of Islam and every time challenge others lol.
My humble request would be to you to please go and learns some manners to talk. rotting quranic words or hadith will not make you some scholar having big turban on his head but it is humbleness, descency and good manners which make you a respected and honored person in the society.
Hope you understand weak English.

Well, you may be right but the fact is that he is not well known at the grass root level like other peers or religious guys. He is regarded and listened in the elite class, policy makers class. Thats why you might have seen some suited booted, burger family, mummy daddy guys around him lol. Also I assume he has some security personnel around him in civil.

you think a man who had a child from zina carries "light of Islam"; you wouldn't know Islam if it hit you over the head,; if you knew what the right interpretation of the Qur'an was you wouldn't say a "zani" has the light of Islam, now go back to servicing Mullah "Sandwich:" haha

Majority of Muslims are moderate people than want to live with other people in harmony. It is the fringe fanatic group harming Muslim interests.
I want and want muslims to live with people in harmony, you encourage anarchy by standing beside and sticking up with people that kill millions for oil and the control of the world, you ignore mass killings of people, if anybody is on the opposite end of peace and harmony it is you.

Every political "liberal" in Pakistan has attempted to court the conservative vote bank in the country by deliberately not being over critical of the religious elements, even to the point of covertly/overtly supporting militant groups nurtured on Pakistani soil and then operating in the neighbourhood. By offering apologies for the Taliban, Imran Khan, is therefore not doing anything different to any of his "liberal" predecessors.
The truth is, you can't really have it both ways and this is precisely why Pakistani politics has never found itself able to move forwards. It's a repeat pattern. The very "liberal" elements who have fostered/apologised for militant groups, have had at some point, the guns turned on them.
His view of Pashtuns is completely consistent with the bias shown by the Panjabi/UPite establishment which holds that the only time that Pashtuns can have self-awareness is when we express a tendency to violence. Nothing is made of our potential beyond the narrow stereotype that we are only good as cannon fodder or if we are well-behaved we can be used as guards.
“This term being used, that Pakistan is going to be Talibanised, is absolute nonsense, because the Taliban is not some ideology. It is a direct reaction to the US invasion of Afghanistan and the Pashtun nationalism kicking in. And on our side of the border, when the Pakistan army, under US pressure, went into the tribal areas, that’s when the Taliban — Pakistani Taliban — emerged four-and-a-half years back. And so, with each operation, they have expanded.” http://www.dailytimes.com.pk/default...7-6-2009_pg3_1
