Dear Indian friend, the opinions about Irans government are quiet different. We can see it even inside this forum, depending on country and background. That is normal, even if Iran is involved in many Afghan intern affairs bringing to big inner problems, how I heard here many times, while we in Armenia have a mostlly positive vision on Iran's politics.
However You have to admit that Iran is nort a country doing wars, as it does the US or Europe, and whose rule seems like a real dictatorship as they are involved in almost any country in the world on the same time they never let make trials on people of their own doing crimes.
Otherwise many people should face much harder judgement than Saddam Hossein or any other they sentenced to death.

Isn't the same Pakistan or Israel dictatorships?
Aren't their governments responsible for many deaths and going against freedom of speech?

the west wants to turn iran into the iraq of the 1990's, economically. this will probably happen over time if they keep slapping on sanctions.

iran was stupid not to diversify its economy and to maintain bad relations with the arabs before taking on their nuclear endeavor. surely they should of known this would come back to haunt them after a western backlash?
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
