No, terrorism is ok if they're working for India; India funneling arms/training/weapons to someone who has murdered probably as many if not more Afghans than the Taliban is perfectly ok.

Really though; We're all for India's friendship and cooperation as long as its beneificial to us; but if you think patronage to a criminal is ok just because he served your agenda you can go back to your Indian forums and pat each other on the back of Indian women being used by European Sex Tourists.

There are plenty of documentaries about sex tourism and the exploitation of the poor in India. As sad as it is, and i feel for those people. I'd rather India be desperate enough to send us their money, know-how and developmental efforts to us than to their own people. So please keep it coming, but don't expect any special favors.

Gee whiz .. so you have just realized that the prime objective of any country's foreign policy is not based on altruism but its own interest; be it India, Pakistan, China .. or Vanuatu. Maybe you should go back to analyzing the [much more interesting] sexual proclivities of different members rather than commenting on such boring issues.

Anyways, ideally India would support a strong, stable, prosperous and liberal Afghanistan, as such a State would have a fissiparous influence on Pakistan; which in turn would oblige Pakistan to look inward rather than meddle in India's internal issues.

We, Indians, are pragmatic people. We realize our weaknesses. We are shallow materialistic people who love making money, dance and music. Besides, education is important to us. We despise war and strife. Such sissy vocations can only be successfully pursued in a peaceful and stable environment. And we have a long way to go to achieve these objectives.

OTOH, we also realize that Pakhtuns are proud, testosterone filled warrior people. They love war and glory. When they are not fighting the foreigners, they are fighting with other Afghan ethnicities or amongst themselves. Such fierce independence and tenacity is seldom seen and really quite admirable.

The upshot is that poor Indians really don't mind sacrificing a little and keep the mess contained in the west, in order to insure our future .

My father knew him. He only cared about the Tajiks, if he loved Afghanistan so much how did the Russians go through to kabul without a fight? Panjshir is to the north of Kabul the Russian had to go through him to reach it, he only fought when Panjshir was being threatened.

No point to bring Massod out of graves. I believe Massod and people like Golbodeen or Dr Najib or....were all merely little, hence unimportant, pawns of a very big game. It’s the realities of their times (industrialized competition- arms race) that shaped them and made them who they became. The so called Cold War's arms race that employed some of the best minds of the 20th century came with a 20 Trillion dollar price tag- a figure simply beyond comprehension. 20 Trillions were spent to make for mass murder, chaos, violence, suffering etc. Masoods or Omars or Qodus were the direct products of such upside down international relations/global logic- to condemn them or to celebrate them is to have missed the graveness of the situation, our state of affairs...especially during such crucial of times as Now…when the world is transforming ---are we as Afghan able to change our faith as dog fighting ground of every war? Are we able to safe our nation from filth of Punjab rule? The clock is ticking..the changing world is favoring us…are we able to utilize this for our benefit?
