I later found out that all such claims were lies; that the Taliban were actually murdering people as a way to intimidate compliance,that the Taliban scared away doctors and educated people by threats. That abusing people was common under the Taliban

the recently "Andarr Uprising in Ghazni" mimicks precisely the same scenarios of the Taliban deliberately going around using "scorched earth" tactics to break the people's will against them.

It was a mistake I admit it. Now I want to stand for what's right.

you remind me of a christian woman, i once worked with. she was the one who preached to everyone and tried shoving religion down peoples throats, but as a human being, she was a selfish incompetant.

That is not the point. To be completely honest with each other here, we are horrible people. After knowing each other for such a long time, instead of getting over our differences, we mock each other every chance we get. Personally, I prefer the company of people who drink but are capable of treating each other in a civil manner. All that is fun when you are young and naive but after a point it just becomes embarrassing. When a person changes for the better, we should encourage them, not mock them. Making fun of someone's financial status is not funny. Making fun of the shape of someone's teeth , height or weight is not funny.
I know that I am not perfect myself either and I do take responsibility for that but I have spent way too much time amongst you people and neither one of you have left a positive influence on me.
No wonder we are suffering this bad. Let's be honest with each other.
