KARACHI: The Difa-e-Pakistan leadership Sunday warned that if Nato routes were reopened, nobody in the country would be able to stop the long march that would take place on Islamabad.Speaking to a convention at the Jamaat-i-Islami (JI) headquarters in Karachi on Sunday, DPC leaders Maulana Samiul Haq and Hafiz Saeed reiterated that they would not allow any party in Pakistan to give the green signal for the resumption of Nato supplies. They added that the withdrawal of US troops was essential for lasting peace in the region. The DPC leadership also asked the government to disentangle itself from the US war against terror, and to break off ties with the United States. JUI-Ideological leader Maulana Asmatullah and JI leader Asadullah Bhutto also cited the current government’s incompetence, and said this was why the rulers were moving to reopen the suspended Nato routes.
