My expectation is tht now that this country is ruined that we all clean it up. My heart hurts for the fact tht most of the people here are blaming the mess on each other but no one has the initiative to pick it up. The only thing i hear it the pashtuns did this and the hazaras did that and the tajiks did that but we are still divided as a country. My dad wasn't an elite when he left. He was a common person. I am not mad at the mujahideen I am mad at every afghan because I want to help this country but first of all im too young im only 18 and second of all this country will never get better if the pashtuns like us and the hazaras and the tajiks and the uzbeks don't become one. And instead of all the u are this and I am that we all call each others afghans and quit fighting.
OK then treat all equally. Recognize all their contributions and all their failures even handidly. If Amanullah Khan laid out the basis for a womens rights movements, lets recognize that. If Omar and these men fought for their country in its time of need recognize that. If Daud was thinking about an independent Afghanistan that coasted to its own non intervened upon state and laid ideological foundation for Afghans to be the owners of their destiny, lets at least congratulate him for his view. If the rural masses that didnt do as your dad (and mine) did, and leave, but instead sacrificed their family members and loved ones, despite your antipathy to their way of life, give them their haq and right to live without you and me telling them that they are backwards forwards upwards or downwards. That is what Khushal means.

And recognize all their failings too and plan around them to help people.

Is this the job your father wanted,or are there no jobs except to take part in the U.S army and be part of the global terrorism.

Tht is what i mean too but i have recognized all the examples u have given. and I am prob one of the few afghans that have. but u usually have to fight for that haq bcz it takes a long time to make other ppl recognize it. It won't work with them being in pakistan. I think that is my major problem, people that have taken refuge in pakistan. I have famil members there that have been in pakistan longer than I have been alive but they are still not a citizen of pakistan, because they are of afghan descent. It is not as hard for my immediate family because we are pashtuns and they blend in but i have aunts that aren't pashto speakers and they aren't citizens.

I know, can you imagine? Being a refugee's child in a country wherein your ethnic group is a large component of the population and even though you may have been born there or raised there that country will not give you the due rights of a citizen. They are going to lose a lot of talent. The Afghans there are bright, hard working, seize educational opportunities, dont expect hand outs, and are running Peshawar's economy.

From the views of Islam, everyone who joins an army who fights muslims is a murtad.

wouldn't that also apply to yourself, and others here on pf, living in a country that has attacked muslims?

Just go to college. Get a degree that will make you as independent as possible so that you never have to beg anyone for a job. That will mean you will always get to tell the truth when asked for it - I think medicine suits you . Never, ever work in government. Never, ever work in politics. Treat Pashtuns Hazaras Tajiks, Arabs, Whites, Panjabies etc. and let your example do the talking.
