The funny thing is that he had a lot of Pukhtoon men fighting next to him; Including one of my relatives. He said Ahmad Shah Massoud was a good man but men in his group were bad, and as response I asked him if his men were bad then who helped him in beating the Russians since he is known mainly for that? I also told him a group only follows their leader and he said that that was Afghanistan in war, even today in a bit of peace people don't listen to each other then what you expect from Mujahideen era?

Just for his age's sake I said nothing afterwards but I also stopped caring, as I said, now he is dead anyway. Though, apparently, those Pukhtoons left his group only after when Afghans went into being ethno-centric. Every ethnic started to care for their own people and therefore people didn't feel safe any more amongst 'other people', I guess that was a start of ethical hatred in Afghanistan. First it were 'groups' facing ethical tension, after Taliban the entire nation got a taste of it.
