  • Panjwai murders: Babies aged 2 to 6 years old shot to death

Eleven members of Abdul Samad's family were killed in a house in Balandi village, including his wife, four girls between the ages of 2 and 6, four boys between 8 and 12, and two other relatives.[7] According to a witness, "he dragged the boys by their hair and shot them in the mouth".[34] At least three of the child victims were killed by a single shot to the head of each.[35] Their bodies were then set on fire. Then one more civilian, Mohammad Dawoud, age 55, was killed in another house in this village.[36] Later four members of another family were killed in Alkozai.[35][37] According to a 16-year-old boy who was shot in the leg, the soldier woke up his family members before shooting them.[38] Another witness said she saw the man drag a woman out of her house and repeatedly hit her head against a wall.[39] Until 22 March, U.S. authorities recognized sixteen people killed, including nine children, four men, and three women;[31] on 22 March that number was revised to 17.[40] Five others were injured.[31]

Its disgusting that the media did not really pick up on this.

Iran condemned this crime. No other Muslim nation condemned it .

Many Muslim nations (Pakistan, Iran) and India condemned the attack on the Western embassies in Afghanistan , but Pakistan and India did not condemn the Panjwai murders.

i don't believe it was just one person. it reminds me of the o.b.l. kill story. all the locals said different to the reports that eventually got pushed.

What difference does it make if a child or grown up is shot during sleep or if wide awake??
And if Iran wants to condemn something out of its own goodness, it should condemn its imams from giving out speeches against afghans and Afghanistan in its mosques.

75 percent of Kandahar, including Panjwai, should be getting 24 hour electricity in the upcoming year is what I recently heard.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

There are difficulties, especially the american terrorists and its allies, don't want any development for Arghandab and Panjawii, because they are part of the strongholds of resistance-as they don't want any development for the zadran areas of paktya province.
