Uhmm no. It was something called Strategic depth. This is not the way to help pashtuns by supporting such an entity. Pakistan and Afghanistan don't have the same roots, just the Pashtuns/Afghans and baloch have the same roots. So it would be right to say that lar au bar Afghans have the same roots. Panjab and Sindh dont share anything with Afghanistan (except religion, which they share with 1 billion+ people).

India also supported Daud Khan, a Pukhtoon. India also supported Bacha Khan, a Pukhtoon. India also supported Mohammad Najibullah, a Pukhtoon. Even though these people are seen as sold-outs/traitors by Pakistani Pukhtoons, but they were huge figure for Pukhtoons of Afghanistan and they were all supported by India.

But since your Pakistan came up with uncivilized, illiterate and barbaric Taliban who did nothing but embarrass our country, Indians were left with no choice than to support Tajiks! They ain't some nut-heads like your government, they do know how to win over public support.

First of all, are you asking a question about Bacha khan or a statement? If you are not then let me tell you Bacha khan's daughter never married a sikh, rather it was his brother. And that daughter was his step daughter not his blood daughter, whom was welcomed into the family when he re-married. Stop spreading disinfo.

Second of all, Pakistan was not created in the name of Islam, and it wasn't just muslims that died. Rather Hindus, sikhs and muslims killed each other in a string of communal violence during the migrations. Stop reiterating mutaliye pakistan.

Third of all, Afghanistan Pashtuns came to Pashtunkhwa in times of need. Where else would they go? Especially considering the west, Saudi and Pakistan funded mujahideen to destabilize their government. They didn't have much of a choice, just like those three countries ruined Afghanistan, they destroyed Pashutnkhwa too. So now you see Pashtunkhwa people as refugees within Pashtunkhwa and in Afghanistan too (unlike Panjab and sindh, they didn't protest against the Pashtunkhwa IDPs and they didn't call them muhajir as well).

I am from Shangla, and are you speaking as a pashtun or as a pakistani? Let me tell you, that your ISI and Pakistan establishment has done so much harm to Pashtunkhwa, that India couldn't even do (nor do they want to). Second of all, many pashtuns are working in Jalalabad and Kabul. None of them are harrassed or called muhajir. They won't arrest you for being ISI (even though you are speaking for them and not for your own).

BTW all pashtuns are Afghans. Ofcourse they will roam freely it is Pashtunkhwa. Do you think that pashtuns of Pashtunkhwa are having it great in other areas in Pakistan? There have been protests in Lahore for the harassment Pashtun labourers and poorer class face due to the whole taliban threat.
