Restoration of Nato supplies to revive suicide attacks: Rashid

LAHORE: Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Chairman of Awami Muslim League (AML), has said that any decision of restoring the Nato supply will revive suicide attacks.
He was of the view that the Punjab could become the major victim of suicide attacks under such scenario. He was talking to the media after addressing his party workers in Lahore on Sunday. Rashid said that India had a hidden agenda of turning Pakistan into Ethiopia. He stated that some people were considering President Asif Zardari’s visit to India as a solution to all problems pending between the two countries.
He alleged that the government was the most corrupt in history of Pakistan and he had not seen such a corrupt regime in his entire political career.Rashid said even Hajis could not save themselves from corrupt practices of the current regime, adding that Hajis should gather pebbles and throw them at the ‘real Satan’ sitting in Islamabad.
He said the US dollar had reached Rs 90 and it would increase further due to corrupt and poor economic policies of the government. Rashid said that only the working classes paid taxes while industrial and feudal lords evaded them.
