Most of you are a bunch of hypocrits. I have been accused as being a non muslim Indian, a Paki, an arab worshipping wahabi, an arab hating racist, a Talib, an apostate, a nationalist. the irony is its mostly by the same people.

An ordinary Iranian doesn't even know what the word 'Pashtun' means, they only do that on Youtube because Pukhtoons (or those posing as Pukhtoons) made tons of videos against Iranians too, that's why the reponse. Otherwise every other Tajik and Pukhtoon I know who has been to Iran has been treated okay because they don't look Hazara, and Hazaras are (according to Iranians) 'true Afghans'.

Afghans in Iran are NOT taking away jobs
I saw myself how they were doing the toughest labor : working on
construction sites, carrying rocks, all sorts of jobs that Iranians
could not possibly be fighting over.

However, there IS a stereotype among Iranians that Afghans are "wild"
in the sense that they could rob or burglarize.

That's mainly WHY the fear of Afghans exists there. It's fueled by rumor mainly without much substance.

Neither are Afghans involved in MAFIA type crime like
"the Russian Mafiya" in the U.S - mainly Russian Jews in gigantic
                        crime rings.

So comparatively, any Afghan misdemeanors in the Islamic Republic
are quite mild, and nothing to complain about.

When I was in Mashhad in the Komiteh office due to having all my
money passport and all my important stuff stolen,
the woman Komiteh member pointed to men languishing in cells.
They were being punished for DRUG charges.
They were Iranians or maybe Baluch, but they were NOT Afghans.

So all this gets exaggerated and blamed on one convenient group,
Afghans, in the Iranian popular imagination.

The reality is that there are other nationalities involved.

The good side was : the Iranians CAUGHT these people and PUNISHED them
                        as they deserve.

Too many of these drug people are let off too easily in America or other countries. Not always, but then why are there so many on the loose?

I was impressed that the Iranian authorities were DOING something,
not just talking, like the D.E.A in Pakistan in that era, the 80s

By the way : though the Imam Jomeh's office did the best they could to recover my stolen possessions
and passport [knowing fully that i was an American woman, they did not round ME up,
contrary to all the Western propaganda against them as dangerous ] --
it was clear that a gang of "ali babas" was involved. Surely these were Iranian
or other, not Afghans at all.

Iranians are such great people,we Afghans should be wanna bee them.Merci

Manzarah i agree with you these wanna bee iranians are even not considered worthy by iranians but they keep on sliming.

i was working with an iranain guy and he laughed at Afghans saying on your tv you guys are tryig your best to copy us.
You got the Iranian wannabes on one side, and then the liberalized Punjabified pakistani Pashtuns on the other side. One loves the liberal/promiscuous Persian culture, and the other loves the liberal Pakistani culture.

After a decade of war, and being the focus of the war, Pashtuns are still the big bad wolves, and the Persians/Persian wannabes and Pakistanis are the victims.

Almost like saying the Jews were the perpetrators of the Holocaust and the Germans were the victims

yes of course; Pashtuns should never be held accountable for their actions; everything that happens it's ALWAYS Pakistan and Iran's fault. when pashtuns abuse women and forced them into marriages way too young? Iran's fault. Pederasty? Pakistan's fault.

Murdering each other for stupid feuds and desputes? Of course the things which are actually foreign meddling such as Iran and Pakistan funding the Taliban then suddenly ...."ay Khudaya ....these are our Afghan brothers ...this is our culture"

It seems neither of the two posters above me know their head from their back end.
