The common Pakistani's point of view about drones is no matter who is targetted the attacks must be stopped. And this should be the stance of the representatives.

      1) Imran isn't silent about the Drone attacks neither was he before.
      2) When the drones were greater in number the people condemning and talking about it was also high. They number of drones reduced Condemning it reduced automatically. Who is going to condemn something that doesn't take place at all?
      3) To agree with those giants of Difa-e-Pakistan Council or not I agree with their stance on the drone attacks.
      4) When the political leadership will reduce the gap between them and the common man of the country the involvement of agencies in Pakistan's politics will decrease itself. When the Political leadership will start delivering they won't be afraid of the guys in Army Uniform. This is how it goes, the problem over here is that people don't really give a **** when the political govt is demolished by an Army General. Because they hate the political govt which is unable to deliver. And than they stand against the General after a few years as he is no different.

The US will support anyone who will bow down his head. They supported Musharraf and said he is preserving Democracy. Now they are supporting Zardari telling us that this is the real Democracy? !!

And the common man in countries like Pakistan doesn't want Democracy at all.. He doesn't give a **** about it. All he wants is peace and a piece of bread in his stomach, that's all.. That's it !!

Ask ISI and Pak Army to stop interfering in their neighbours affairs, stop double dealing. Then the common man can have peace and bread in his stomach.

How can you defeat an enemy who looks into the barrel of your gun and sees Paradise? Ask Israeli Army Chief for some advice on how to do that.

You didn't read the complete post. I said when the political leadership will start delivering and stop being a puppet the role of ISI and Army will decrease itself.

I agree. We have to concentrate on giving basic facilities and amenities to the people of Pakistan. That is what the people really want and the center has to concentrate on that. Also on ensuring the rights and privileges of each and every individual. Equal resource sharing for all provinces as well.

And I agree with you. We have to stop listening to US dictat and start using our head a little. We've had $ 68 Billion in losses in the war on terror. Aid is 10 Billion. How are we the winners. We are the biggest loosers in the war. Especially the Pashtuns who are becoming dangerously alienated by the war.

I agree. Frankly I don't care what ISI does in India. I think its demonized too much for political gains locally and by our neighbors for their own gains and to shift the blame... to have a scapegoat.

And its an agencies job, who knows what RAW does in Pakistan? And how do we know what RAW is doing with those 4 consulates across the border in Afghanistan.

However there needs to be a shift in policy. A shift in policy over how we deal with dissent within Pakistan itself. The objective should be to win a dissident over instead of eliminating him. By trying to eliminate him the ISI causes all the family members friends and everyone else of the victim to start being against them. It is the worst way to deal with things. Internally ISI's policy has to change and it has to ensure it does not interfere in Pakistani politics.

Our intelligence agency is also blamed within Pakistan for its role in HR violations. The Balochistan situation has partly been spoiled by the ISI which is believed to kill and dump dissident Baloch. This needs to stop. They need to be won over instead of killed. Even if they are insurgents.

one thing I never understood is why do many pakistanis love (ISI) so much? what have they done for the country? except cause pakistan to become a terrorist state, and a laughing stock of the world.
The more i learn about the ISI and the Army the more my eyes are opening, these guys are nothing but traitors and hypocrites who have destroyed pakistan in every way possible

There is one thing being nationalistic, but there is another being blind, unfortunately most nationalistic pakistanis are blind, the popularity of Zaid Hamid in Pakistan proves this

^ why is ISI doing that? please tell. I mean from the situation in Baluchistan, to kidnapping people and killing people and of course secretly supporting terrorism in the region, how has this helped the country or region?? What pakistan is today can solely be blamed on the ISI and other agencies, they share 90% of the blame.
