As long as there is a Pakistan, there will be no peace in Afghanistan until and unless Kabul is controlled by Pakistani puppets. This is an undeniable fact. An independent Kabul government will exploit the inherent contradiction in Pakistan's ideological basis and will reclaim its territory and people. It will employ India's help to pressurize Pakistan. In retaliation, Pakistan will destabilize and weaken Afghanistan, reducing it to the status of a dependency or an all-out satellite.

This is an inconvenient truth for many Pakistanis, who, after a decade of Zia, are taught to view the world as al-Islam versus al-kuffar and that all Muslims are somehow one 'nation', even when Pakistan supports the atheist Chinese as they massacre Uyghur Muslims or when the Pakistani army is dispatched to Jordan to slaughter Palestinians. The post above proves my point.

Therefore, there can never be peace between Afghanistan and Pakistan until one completely subdues the other. These are the regional dynamics here.

So troll runner still lurks these forums. I wonder why it hasn't been banned yet.

Care to point out exactly what it is that you find faulty with the post above? Specifics would be nice. Or else please refrain from trolling.

Pointing out stupidity is useless to the person that fails to recognize it initially and posts utter garbage.

However I'll point out one of many. It is possible that the afghans in Afghanistan do not care who runs the country, be they pro or anti Pakistan, as long as peace and security is delivered.

Your theory that peace can never occur unless pro Pakistani afghans are eliminated is the thinking that will ensure the cycle of violence continues. Enjoy yourself sat in your seat of stupidity far away from Afghanistan.

This basically implies the elimination of whole Afghan leadership, so that the populace may be subsumed under the pseudo-Islamist narrative of Pakistani leadership.

                  1) Peace on whose terms? The population might not care but state-level politics never cease to function. States vie for power and influence. A population is a mere element of a state. Political science 101.

                  2) I never said that pro/anti Pakistan/India elements should be eliminated. I merely explained a phenomena in the light of Afghanistan's and Pakistan's history from 1947 to 2012, especially keeping in view the 1947 UN admission vote, the 1947-79 politics of transit trade, Sardar Daud's era of "Pashtunistan", Bhutto's response to it and the continuing tug of war for foreign supremacy in Kabul.

Clearly, you continue to bring your low standards of Pak Defense to these forums and that is why you have no respect.

Well LZ this was the same point I have been making for a year now. When you couple this to the fact that a large portion of the population is jingoistic, even amongst Pashtuns that adds to the probability of a powder keg situation. This simple admission of reality is all I asked for. So you basically admit that an expat government goal will make it a key point to needle Pakistan and you provide the restatement of the historical reasons for Pakistan to be paranoid. So then if you recognize these ground level realities why not address pakistans very predictable response? I mean expecting them to ignore real national security threats is absurd. It's as absurd as thinking assad of Syria will just cede allawite superiority just because Sunnis comprise a majority... Or that Israel will cede land just because norm finkelstein wrote a book. Nation states act predictably.

I think its more than time to accept the will of the Afghan people and let them make their own decisions. Pakistan needs to understand that we cannot influence the will of the Afghan people.

However this does not mean that a mutualistic relationship cannot exist between the two countries.

I've came across many dumb posts in the past decade, from managing various boards, but these past few posts of yours have instantly made it to the top of the chart. I don't mean to come off with a condescending tone here, as I always vigorously attempt maintain a neutral attitude[and I do unfortunately, at times, appear a bit phlegmatic] -- but what in the world are you trying to say here? Levanaye Zalmaye posted his opinion, and rather than attempting to refute what he says, you respond with worthless garbage.

Nothing short of a good old fashioned attempt to sway the discussion towards mindless insults.

One word here, illogical. Draw a truth table, and attempt to assign values to what you are saying and quickly(I hope) you will realize that you've failed miserably here. Rather than showing the man that his views are crooked, or unparalleled amongst the majority, you want to dance around the "since you can't see, I won't show it to you" tune. If you don't care in debunking a statement, or using a bathroom, then don't even bother derailing a thread.

However I'll point out one of many. It is possible that the afghans in Afghanistan do not care who runs the country, be they pro or anti Pakistan, as long as peace and security is delivered.
It's possible, similar to how might spend the rest of your life figuring out how to create a single-cycle data path using 1 multiplexor, but for the most part I disagree. Any citizen, of any nation, will have an inherent concern with who is running their nation. If Afghans didn't care who ran their country, we wouldn't have had experienced such fierce responses from the brave Afghan nation when foreigners attempted to conquer them. For the most part, in my opinion, they were still getting their bread and water with or without the invader.

Your theory that peace can never occur unless pro Pakistani afghans are eliminated is the thinking that will ensure the cycle of violence continues.
He never called for the elimination of Pro Israeli or Pro Pakistani Afghans. How about this, read his post carefully and then try to refute what he actually said.

More like an emotional outburst, after displaying just a few of the obvious contradictions in the Pakistani state. You see the problem is, in Pakistan the focus is more towards 'ratafication', rather than critically analyzing a passage, or simply conducting thought-provoking discussions. Cognitive Science, for the most part, affirms the notion that if a child at a young age is brainwashed, it's hard to change his views. That sums up most of Pakistan for you. When you have spy agencies, that kills a journalist which dares to question the government or it's motive/policies, such events that we are witnessing here are nothing but natural. I mean, after all, just look at the amount of whistle-blowers that get killed in Pakistan for simply reporting their opinion. It's very sad as to how children are brainwashed in believing that the pseudo-scholar Jinnah, along with his minions were one of the best to have ever lived in the Islamic world.

                          Disclaimer:
I won't be having tit for tat responses. What I said is strictly my opinion, and I'd like to leave it at that. Let's discuss the topic on hand, rather than redefining stupidity.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

If your analysis is correct, then with NATO trying to build a strong afghan governmnet would mean they would essentially also want to eliminate pakistan because its either one or the other. Why then is the US funneling billions to Pakistan and at the same time trying to build a strong Afghan government. It does not make sense that they would give billions in aid and try to eliminate them at the same time.
