Who knows whether ISI is supporting terrorism in Afghanistan or not? What do you base the assumption on? How can you just use the basis of an assumption to insult Pakistan and hate it for the rest of your lives.

Pakistan has paid enough of a price for supporting the Afghan-Soviet war and interfering in Afghanistan. Pakistan should have remained neutral all along. Mujahideen or America, whoevers side we are on Pakistan has no business interfering in Afghanistan. We have to accept the will of the Afghan people.

But blaming Pakistan for all the ills is not the solution. Its childish and arrogant. We are facing common threats. Forget the past. The only reason Pakistan interfered in Afghanistan in favour of the Mujahideen because our foolish leaders though they were saving Afghanistan and helping their 'Muslim brothers' They didn't know Afghans would hate us for it and it would alienate Pashtuns within Swat and Waziristan where 20 years later we would undertake operations (and fail to defeat the taliban leadership hence giving us the label taliban supporters).

No, please don't make storys up, meybe some Paki-Pashtuns wanted good for Afghanistan but your leaders are dogs and wanted power and nothing more.

And this is the first time I hear that Indians say that, mostly only Afghans call Pakistan Porkistan :P.
Strange as it may seem, mr India, neither do you know any afghan Pashtuns (= Tajiks as pak = punjabi?).

The closest you've been to a real Pashtun from Afghanistan is when you saw one on you tv set.

I await the desperate response, 'no I know one, he watched beavis and butted with me yesterday while we sat on our potties'

Nonsense. Pakistan did not do it out of brotherly love, it did it because it was in it's interest to not have the soviet union on it's doorstep.

Should they have supported the mujahideen, I think I agree with you, Pakistan should not have. But Pakistan would be damned either way by the same retards that accuse it of interference, would be saying why didn't you help.

Our leaders are dogs... agreed. But there was no power in interfering in Afghanistan. Just US $...

Hating Punjabis isn't the solution for our problems. I wish we understood that someday. Not just Pashtuns & Afghans (Tajiks, Hazara, etc) but also all minor ethnic groups in Pakistan.

Though I will admit that not having the Soviets at our borders was also one of the reasons for joining the hopeless war I will disagree that it was the only reason. Of course lets not forget American pressure and the incentives they offered. A partnership in defense and trade was more than what Pakistan wanted. Of course in reality US stabbed Pakistan in the back (they pushed us into the war-something i have stated in countless articles) and didn't give us anything other than the Pressler Amendment. For that matter the backstabbed Afghanistan too. All they wanted to see was a soviet defeat. Never cared about how Afghanistan would be used as a battleground and Afghans would be killed. We took all the blame.

Anyway back to 'brotherly love.' Pakistan was ruled by one of its worst Islamists at the time of the 'Afghan Jihad'... namely Zia Ul Haq and according to his own speeches his primary reason for helping the Afghans was the idea of Muslim brotherhood. He even sent men into Jordan against the Palestinians. He was one of those leaders who never understood that interfering in another country was never in Pakistan's interests.

Talk to a taxi driver in KP, Pakistan at that time and he would tell you Muslim should help Muslim... ever watch the movie the kiterunner. The author had a real experience with that taxi driver. Pakistanis thought they were doing a service to Afghanistan... wish they could tell their Islamist brains that interfering in a country only causes problems.

Either way Pashtuns suffered. Pashtuns in Pakistan suffered because gun culture, drugs etc flooded in from Afghanistan and were talibanized, Pashtuns in Afghanistan however were slaughtered brutally. 4 Million Afghans killed, at least 3 Million must have been Pashtuns. No wonder Pashtuns are angry.... but lets rebuild. Please don't hate Pakistan. We were all used.

Should they have supported the mujahideen, I think I agree with you, Pakistan should not have. But Pakistan would be damned either way by the same retards that accuse it of interference, would be saying why didn't you help.
I agree wholeheartedly here, mate. I value your arguments roadrunner.

"If we could all just get along..." sigh :D
