pashtoon suffered alot because of the evil nexus between Taliban and **** intelligence agencies. ISI with the help of Taliban assassinated thousands of pashtoon tribal elders so that to create a political vacuum for Taliban and other terrorist groups.these terrorist groups hijacked the whole pashtoon society at gun point and pashtoons r helpless in front of the brutal force of these evil elements.
its the duty of every pashtoon/afghan to expose the evil mindset of Pakistani establishment and its support for cross border terrorism in the region.

Saiba ttol zamung pur ziddh rawaan dee ao tolo kae zaalim da pakistan army ao ISI da. Bayaadh mung da dyuu da aslee makh tol narrae tha ramakhamakh koo. Even today there are Pashtuns who are defending pak army and pak policy. It is beyond embarrassing.

        Two quotes from the report:

"The Taleban came here and settled here. Now they have a dispute with the government, and the government started taking actions against them. If we stand with the government the Taleban will hit us. If we stand with the Taleban the government will target us. If we don't stand with any of them, you can see how bad our situation is."

        and

"Most discussions of the conflict ignore the fact that northwest Pakistan is heavily populated and that the majority of people who live in FATA and other areas of northwest Pakistan do not support or take part in violence and are going about the business of trying to farm, raise livestock, weave fabrics, transport goods, raise families, and build, repair, or teach. The well-being of these civilians is rarely mentioned in media reports or policy pronouncements by Taleban or US, Pakistani, or Afghan officials and there are few signs that leaders on either side of the conflict factor civilians into their policies or strategic analyses."

And this old lady's single tear just breaks my heart.

The Taleban came here and settled here. Now they have a dispute with the government, and the government started taking actions against them....

I read this two days ago, it was like putting hot metal on old wounds.. What's even more sad is that the voice of these innocents is drowned among the media propaganda and the chantings of Taliban.. Other day they were showing this documentary on geographical most of it was praising pak army and NATO but for two minutes they showed the interview of this captured Taliban.. It was really something, I'll
see if I can find just that piece on YouTube

This has always haunted me! My mother said the exact same thing when she was in Swat during the strife. Many are still suffering in the same situation, and some are often forced to choose. Two of my uncles were butchered because the Taliban suspected they were pro-government just because one of my uncles gave water to a police officer who knocked on his door for something to drink during iftari; his brother was later killed because the Taliban found out he was bitter to them for having killed his brother! Then several of my uncles from my mother's side were imprisoned and tortured because they were suspected of being pro-Taliban!

I really don't understand that perspective either. Be thankful that the army saved us from the Taliban? I'm not so sure about that. I honestly wonder how I would be viewing all this if I were physically there myself, as a direct witness to all this injustice.

But then again, I don't think I would've survived. I must applaud our survivors because I sit here thousands and thousands of miles away from them, and my insides scream. I can't imagine what they must be going through or what they must have suffered!
