One of the reasons this site is so lacking is because an inbred population like yourself exists on it khostai, with no desire to debate thorny issues. Paks generally are not as ugly as you fellas in India. This is well known worldwide. Just take a look at my avatar to see what you folk look like to see what I mean. Bollywood is a mirror of the Pakistani population.

Inbreeding happens in hotspots within Muslim countries and all over the world it is the same.

The problem I have with the map is this.

He breaks India (and other places) into two areas of inbreeding, it could be broken down into more. With Muslim countries he treats them as single entities. So if one report from say some village suggests 70% inbreeding, he has generalized this to the whole country. It isn't the case.

People are learning that inbreeding is not healthy and there is more to life than just marrying cousins. And I'm glad for that.

Inbreeding is actually an Arab concept. The arab armies used to want to keep their bloodline pure. Since Islam actually came from the Arabs into this region, Pakistanis and Afghans have adopting this foolish concept. Arab women used to marry within the family strictly to keep the bloodline pure though arab men had a greater deal of freedom.

People are now realizing (the younger generation) that inbreeding should be avoided while the older generation tend to be sticklers to old custom.

Also its the cause of major genetic disorders. Marriages between cousins should go into the dustbin of history.

Inbreeding occurs quite a bit among younger generations though they are usually almost illiterate. Quite a few illiterates exist though.

South Indians are inbred because it is in their custom too. Indians face some of the same problems we do. Though modern Indians are moving away from the custom as well faster than us laggards and sticklers to custom actually.

I am avid reader of history so I can give some historical context. The Mauryans married their cousins and amongst their own women to keep their linage strong. The Chola's, Pandya's and Maratha's had the same customs.

There is also another type of inbreeding in India too. Inbreeding within caste. In the past this was a stronger tradition. The Brahmins always married Brahmins. A Dalit on the other hand had to marry a dalit.
