Nice share wrora, but use instead of music > quran or an nasheeds.
By the way liked the scenes from the movie in the end.
I want to remind you the words of Dr Aziz Rantissi : haza huwa tariq haza huwa tariq.
This is our way this is our wayHigh achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.

I disagree re Abdullah Azzam
I think he BELONGS to be there.
Wasn't he Palestinian after all?
So the arc across from - well how about New Khorasan as a name
for a revitalized Afghanistan ?!! -
Khorasan to Palestine is set into concrete via the connection between him
and the Afghan fighters against the Allah-hating Communists.
It's the best of Maiwand's so far !
I enjoyed this.
I liked having some music. I know what Afg2010 is saying. But in reality,
people need something other than perpetual Nasheeds.
A little of them, OK. But the type of person who will view this
probably listens to them around the clock already.
So some tasteful music ADDS.
It creates a suspenseful ambiance, drawing the viewer more into the
spirit of the video. "Will the Khorasanis get there? Will they win?
Will they tie their horses in the olive grove ?!",
he or she is waiting for the next scenes to learn the answers.
I recommend NOT any music with a jazz beat, however, common as it is
in today's world. It brings in the energy of Shaitan in a very small subtle way.
After Shaitan was behind the whole creation and popularization of jazz, "blues",
and all those depressing or jarring forms of Western music.
Maybe a movie score that is REALLY UPLIFTING would be the ticket
as background for some of the narration.
I am trying to think of an example...
I think also some identification of some of the speakers who weren't listed
would be a help, too. Of course, we all recognize that one voice easily!
But some of the others are mysterious.
I give high points for creatively assembling good footage [much of which
I remember from various videos here on PF, even the Soviet movie one.
That stony-faced Red Army commander is something ! ]
to make a coherent theme.
Keep working to produce more of these!
It's great progress, very inspiring, and
as far as I know, quite unique.
No one else has put out videos in such detail on this theme.
Plus much new information was introduced. I was shocked about the
destruction of the Olive groves. That's sad, but remarkable in the context
of that prophecy.
I hope those of the region are busy secretly planting new ones !
PS it's As-Sham, not aSham, right?Last edited by Catya Sher; 03-03-2012, 05:08 PM.

the strongest arab nations couldn't defeat israel, this with modern weaponry, but people who couldn't even afford the gas to drive through iran from afghanistan will defeat israel?
there is so many things wrong with the whole khorasan hype, its staggering. There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

historically, khorasan has been a vague term for the region stretching from eastern iran to central asia. id say, that it didn't even include pashtuns back in the day, though there are those who say it stretched to india. khorasan was then comprised of modern day uzbeks, tajiks, hazaras, persians, pashtuns, baloch, turkmen, and others.
if people are trying to attribute this thing to the taliban, what are they going to walk to israel and take jerusalem? There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. as a non-muslim and observer of international events, i would consider the issue of the shia/sunni split to be the main problem facing muslims. are they going to continue fighting and exchanging power in the muslim lands forever?
i have been amazed, over the years, at the lack of support for each other between muslim countries.

its more of a persian/arab split, with religion being a smaller issue but a scapegoat for both sides. there is historical animosity between the arab world and the persians which despite religious rhetoric, is nationalist in nature.
bringing the gulf cooperation council and iran together for closer relations would go a long way in making the region more peaceful, but its unlikely to happen in the near future. There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Arabs had "modern weaponry" against Israel at around 1967?Originally posted by randolph85 View Postthe strongest arab nations couldn't defeat israel, this with modern weaponry, but people who couldn't even afford the gas to drive through iran from afghanistan will defeat israel?

Are you kidding me? Or do you think they had genie lamps?
Arabs had Soviet era junk against a well armed Israeli regime.
What they lacked was unity

Secondly, Israel, putting aside their political know how, lacks foresight
What are they going to do as every country around them become Sharia ?
Did they think the US had the economic capacity to prop their government up forever?
Tsk Tsk, what are they going to do now ? Kiss Chinas assss?

i was reading that the sperm count of the israeli men has gone down and even healthy non-smoker donors are turned away from sperm donation centres. possibly due to wmd usage and pollutents in the environment they say..
bit of karma there.
