  • Why and Who killed Ahmad Shah Massoud?

    I believe he was killed by Americans/NATO. Is it a co incidence that he was killed just before the invasion by the west? I think not.

    Whats your opinion about this incidence?

    I think by Al-Qaida, ordered by CIA through ISI. Otherwise Afghanistan wouldn´t been run by thugs and criminals. His fought against the Taliban would made him as a legitimated new president or at least prime minister. But US were in need of someone whom they can control. Another failure of the US and the list was filled again with one more mistake.

      Masood can not be a legitimate president. He was in bed with everyone, from the ISI to the Russians, Iranians, Indians, FRench, CIA. HE was responsible for destroying Kabul and bringing ethnic division to Afghanistan. He was a good opportunist.

      AS far as who killed him. It was those two algerian journalists linked to AQ. Was it an inside job for allowing those journalists to get close to Masood? It is possible.

        yeah, he was in a province and city dominated by Tajiks. GOSH, you losers are to much blind. He was maybe the only one who was not a wh*** like Dostam, Mullah Omar, Golboddin and the rest of the thugs. You talk out of your ethnocentric hatred toward him. If he would be a Pashtun you would had already called him baba mellat. Diplomacy is not bringing foreigners to Afghanistan like Mullah Omar and the Paki monkies did. Nothing changed till today. The same people, Karzai, Khalilzad, Wardakis and all the rest of the sellouts bring the foreigners and you still call others as traitors. He was a legitime president or at least a candidate so he had to die.

        I´m talking here with a tribalist without any logic.

          i have a lot of issues with Masoud, but i dont doubt for a second he wouldve been a 100 times greater than Karzai

          He was the best leader of the last 30 years, along with Najib. And this is not a glorification of Masoud and Najib, rather an indictment of the piss poor quality of our leadership

              Thats because all your analysis puts all blame on PAkistan when in fact it was the PAshtunistan policy that destroyed afghanistan. The biggest defenders of that policy was Najib. Masood was equally responsible for the destruction of the country as hekmatyar. If they had been level headed instead of being selfish, no one would have heard of the Taliban.

                My coward friend,

                I know you are a -[edit]-. First of all RAWA is an ISI mouthpiece and second his deal with Soviets was because of the protection of people in his province. Of course he was supported somehow by Indians, so your heroes by CIA, Pakis, Arabs, Terrorists and and and. Stop missinterpretating your own version. Massoud deserved to be named in India. He fought India´s enemy, Pakistan, your ISI masters and their foot-monkies. You bark against Pakistan killing innocent Pashtuns and call for partition but at the same time you hypocrite wahabi monster bark against those who fought your heroes and Panjabi masters who sacrified Pashtuns. I can´t read anything wrong about Massoud. He was as a Mujaheddin on the payroll of Soviets enemies as all Mujaheddins so your heroes, including Taliban. But unlike you, he recognized his role in the war against Soviets. That´s why he fought against Hazaras, Uzbeks and Goboddinis who were slaves of Iran, Russia and Pakistan. Taliban was the best option for Afghanistan to make these thugs getting a hard teaching who the real enemies are. Your RAWA sisters with their ISI husbend just missuse information against him but you can not fool those who were there and saw the war. That´s why hundreds of books written about him while coward blind Mullah, the slave of ISI and Arabs is demonized, Goboddin called as a terrorist, Haqqani called as savages and other terrorists. Massoud´s men did not any suicide bombings. They did not flocked the people. They did not forbidde women and people to visit schools. Come on my coward friend behind PC, your ethnical hatred and jealousy on Farsiwans is not denieable. I feel it.

                  I really CANT say, who killed Massoud...but Massoud get what he deserved..his life was an lie and died becaus of lier...he and his followors played a tricky and FAKE game with Afghanistan and his Civilian...Massoud fought against the Russian? Then how CAN the russian come throught the North into Afghanistan without ONE ressistance? The Russians leave the same way Afghanistan. Do you really think, that he fought for the civilians? If he would, why he started "operation Afshar" the killing of innocent Hazara? Why he bombed Kabul with Rockmatyar?
                  You cant compare Massoud with Najibullah, Najibullah was an Patriot WHO spit Pakistan in his face...he died for us...Massoud killed,raped so many people and lied to our folk...but this theatralic play will be over...Massouds picture will dissapear out of Kabul...Najibullahs Pictures hang in Kabul AND in the Atraf...we will bring Ahmad Shaha Baba or Mirwais Nikkah back into the citys

                    He should have been tried for treason.

                    He left Afghanistan after his ISI-led "Panjsher Revolt" against the Daoud Regime failed miserably.

                    He was a traitor way before anyone else entered the arena of treason.
                    The only constant is change.

                        massoud i believe a great leader on the battle field, and a horrible statesman, but at least he had the commander thing going for him. najib? what did this man ever do which was worth praising, ever?

                        i am sick of kabulis selling this guys pictures alongside the greats.
                        There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

                          Masood was no different then all the other sell-outs. Having him a president is no different than Karzai. He was a tool, nothing more or less. Someone like Ramzan Bashardost deserves praise. The word legitimate and Masood is an oxymoron.

                          A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

                          For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

                          The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

                            I thought he was looking out for Afghanistan? All of a sudden his concern is strictly his province? Let's bomb the crap out of Kabul, just so my little teeny tinny Panjshir is safe?
                            Of course he was supported somehow by Indians,
                            He wasn't just supported, he served as a dependent tool.
                            so your heroes by CIA, Pakis, Arabs, Terrorists and and and.
                            A fallacy. Just because someone thinks Masood is a tool/sell-out, doesn't mean they all of a sudden support Mullah Omar or Bacha saqaw. Take a deep breath.

                            Stop missinterpretating your own version. Massoud deserved to be named in India. He fought India´s enemy, Pakistan, your ISI masters and their foot-monkies.
                            Another assumption. Why are you asserting that his master is the ISI? Typical Masood fanboyism.

                            If(masoodIsQuestioned==true){
                            System.out.print("Yell, scream, accuse him of being a spy, talk about his family and just engage yourself in a shouting match.");
                            }
                            You bark against Pakistan killing innocent Pashtuns and call for partition but at the same time you hypocrite wahabi monster bark against those who fought your heroes and Panjabi masters who sacrified Pashtuns. Assumptions, assumptions, and guess what? More assumptions. Once again, just because one is criticizing a sell out, you don't have to tell us how Masood was less of a sell-out compared to the other sell-outs(which should be condemned as well). There is no such thing as a semi-sell-out. Rather than insulting your interlocutor, try to reason with some sense.

                            What kind of filthy institution did you attend? Read your response carefully, it's of garbage quality.

                              Alot of Afghans in the west like ASM, but Kabuli's who grew up during his mortar practices, despise him. So all take the Kabuli's view of him rather than Western Afghans.
