Is he a civilian or a Taliban militant? I think the soldiers think he is a militant
Pakistan army really needs to respect human rights. They can't just drag their prisoner like that like a dog.I am the author of Badal, an upcoming fiction novel on the War on Terror. For more information about me visit www.havisultan.com

I think its very important for the army to have a course or something, or teach its soldiers how to treat civilians and how to behave around them. Its not right to drag that man like that. Our forces need to win over the locals where they undertake operations. Instead we end up pissing off the locals. Look at Balochistan, the people of Swat too are complaining the army harasses them.Originally posted by badmash_khel View PostThe conduct of the Pakistani army is very unislamic and worse than so called terrorists in many cases.
However I don't know if this guy is a terrorist but if he is a terrorist I can understand the logic of the Army. The courts have been setting known militants captured by the army or police free. It can be frustrating for the soldiers and that is why they have been known to practice extra-judicial killing. I mean the militants are killing innocents daily, killing soldiers daily. The army is pissed.
Still doesn't justify it. We need an effective counter terrorism strategyI am the author of Badal, an upcoming fiction novel on the War on Terror. For more information about me visit www.havisultan.com

the paki army doesn't need some silly "don't torture people" course. unless the soldiers were ferrel children raised by wolves, these values should instilled to them by birth.Originally posted by haviZsultan View PostI think its very important for the army to have a course or something, or teach its soldiers how to treat civilians and how to behave around them. what they need is consequences. they are no different than american soldiers or afghan or whoever, that know there will be no repercussions for their crimes. jail them, execute them, do SOMETHING, or else there will be no change. There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.
