If Afghan "insurgency" is fully supported by Napaki Army, then where are the advanced weapon capabilities?

The US/NATO alliance that props up the expat karzai regime is one of the most highly advanced ones in terms of weapons and technology

Is Pakistan the reason this 50 nation alliance has failed?

A retard Is the one who does not object to Pakistan support for the US war. Without Pakistan support, there is no USwar

It is not that hard to understand

It is tied to it. Ghundal has a point.

First you claim that the Taliban is armed by pakistan, he claims so is NATO and the Afghan government, they get their supplies through pakistan, the difference is that the losing side gets the more advanced hardware.

Second you claim that pakistan gives sanctuary to the taliban, he claims so is NATO who flies drones from pakistani air bases and flies other military aircraft over pakistani airspace.

My question is why is the side that is militarily inferior winning. Its more than obvious that there is something wrong with NATO and the afghan government.

So stop blaming pakistan for the incompetence of the afghan government because they support both sides, not just one side.

Cmon guys...there are opinions and there are facts. This is a simple issue there should be a consensus on.

Without Pakistan, there would still be an insurgency. This is a fact, because this is the very nature of Afghans, to resist foreign occupation

However, it is also indisputable that the insurgency would not be as effective without Pakistani support. Pakistani support for the Taliban is an undeniable fact

Is this support unconditional and full throttle? No

        Its that simple guys...

And one more thing, lets not act like massive carpet bombing and 400,000 American troops wouldnt end this insurgency tomorrow...

They have done massive carpet bombing . They have also used depleted uranium. They also have over 200,000 contractors , do all together that's 400000

            And they have lost

it would end it but it is no long term solution. the insurgency would prop up again as soon as the troops are gone. That surge in helmond accomplished nothing, the taliban are back. and the american economy cant keep 100,000 soldiers for a long time let alone 400,000. the problem is the incompetence of the afghan government who does not work for the afghan people. you create a government that actually works for the people, you dont even need one american soldier to stamp out the insurgency.

When you cant figure it out and come to the conclusion that leads you to carpet bomb a rural civilian population, its better to leave and admit defeat than destroy what you want to conquer.

More than half of million people are displaced in the south and north due the enviroment, force by warlords and war. One thing you need to forget. The old days when the government controlled all weapons and only the army and private militias of the royal family had the privilegs to have weapons are already over. Today, nearly every household has many weapons. Never wish a war in the north because the ethnical devision is to much deep than expected and the post-Taliban decade unified more and more the northerners, specially because of the Taliban threat. It would only victimize those who are innocent and helpless. Just read the Human Rights reports what they have written about the people in the north. But in general north and south suffer. The only one who profite from a war would be the warlords and the militias. In fact, there is already a small but bloody civil war running in the police and army, in some districts and provinces, in some political positions.

                    Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

read the following and have a bit shame!

The United States and its allies today find themselves in a position in Afghanistan similar to that of the Soviet Union in the late 1980s, after Mikhail Gorbachev decided on military withdrawal by a fixed deadline. They are in a race against the clock to build up a regime and army that will survive their withdrawal, while either seeking a peace agreement with the leaders of the insurgent forces or splitting off their more moderate, pragmatic, and mercenary elements and making an agreement with them. The Soviets succeeded at least partially in some of these objectives, while failing utterly to achieve a peace settlement. To date, that is just about true of the West as well.

''The Pakistani military analysts and Riaz Mohammad Khan share the belief that a Taliban capture of Kabul and the north is impossible. Moreover, sensible Pakistani officers do not want the Taliban to conquer the whole of Afghanistan, because they would then be free to turn on Pakistan by giving their support to their Pashtun brothers who are in revolt against Pakistan as part of the Pakistani Taliban (Tehreek-e- Taliban Pakistan, or TTP).''

Thatmeans that Pak´s support for Taliban will be in future limited.
