'Karzai says Pak can never achieve dream of setting up puppet govt. after US leaves Afghanistan'

Islamabad, Feb 20 (ANI): Afghan Prsident Hamid Karzai feels Pakistan wants to set up a puppet government after the US leaves Afghanistan, a senior Pakistani official has said.
The official aware of last week's meeting between Karzai and the Pakistani civil and military leadership, said Karzai believed that Islamabad was playing a "wait and see game" on Afghanistan.
"He (Karzai) thinks we are not forthcoming on the peace talks with the Taliban. He believes we are waiting to see the Americans leave the region before we play our cards," The Express Tribune quoted the official, as saying.
The official also said Karzai suspected that the Pakistan's security establishment would want to install a government of its 'own choice' in Kabul like it did during the '80s.
"If this is your ambition then forget about it. Let me tell you that neither would the Americans leave this region nor would you be able to manipulate the situation as you did in the past," the official quoted Karzai as having said.
However, the official rejected the Afghan president's assessment, saying Islamabad does not harbour any 'hidden agenda' for Afghanistan.
"Karzai's remarks reflect his own failure and frustration to succeed and lead his country to peace and prosperity," he added.
Earlier, in the meeting in Islamabad, Karzai had bluntly demanded that Pakistan produce Taliban leaders to negotiate with him. source said that the Pakistani side was shocked by the Afghan leader's aggression.
Karzai has long demanded that Pakistan bring the leadership of the Taliban to the negotiating table, including its chief, Mullah Mohammad Omar.
Pakistan Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar described the discussions with the Afghan delegation as "hard" and "serious", and clarified that Islamabad was unaware of Mullah Omar's whereabouts.
"We don't have Mullah Omar to bring. That's the crazy perception about Pakistan. It's ridiculous," she added. (ANI)

Karzai is surely correct in this. Thats what Pakistan army and ISI want to do - to have a puppet Afghan government. And no doubt Mullah Omar is being kept safe and sound in Pakistan. They denied Bin Laden was in Pakistan lol but any Punjabi (Muslim or non-Muslim) would have known Musharaf was lying thru his teeth. It was a joke.

Simple solution is for US to destroy Pak army and this war would be over with. It needs no more than about 4 to 8 weeks to do that for US - it would be like a cowboy chase, but they don't want to do it (so far) for various reasons and because their liberals will cry out as well if they went for it.

You would make an excellent comedian in a circus. Give it a go. But before you go, tell me -why do you want Afghanistan to become a puppet wild life park of Kiyani and his mates? And how can you compare yourself to someone like me? I am a free person not trying to please Beduins all the time and certainly not Kiyani.

Who cares about napaki Kayani? He supports the US war
And he fully supports and endorses drone attacks. He also helps Israel
Last I checked, both Pakistan and India support the US war.

Pakistan allows supply routes for US war (no war without it) and India supports the continuation of the US war, calling Afghans evil.

                    These are unrefutable facts

I dont think pakistan wants to install a puppet government, they just want an anti india government, but whatever government is in kabul it would depend on foreign aid, that can not be avoided.

They don´t want to install a puppet regime but WANT an anti-India regime?

I hope you see the contradiction here.

It´s not up to Pakistan to want anything regarding who runs Afghanistan.

Every regime that comes to power by the will of the Afghan people or by the OK of the US will be anti-Pakistan because it will try to safeguard the national interests of the country.

Accepting the Durand-Line or playing along with the strategic aimes of Pakistani Army (strategic depth etc.) go diametrical against the national interests of Afghanistan.

India and Afghanistan are natural allies against a cancer-like entity with no national, historical, cultural or linguistic justification to exist called Pakistan.
                        The only constant is change.

this is what a puppet governmnet is:
a government that is appointed by and whose affairs are directed by an outside authority that may impose hardships on those governed.

Pakistan willonly do what they can and they are well aware of their limits. they know they can not achieve a puppet governmnet and it is only playing with the cards they have at their disposal.

Afghanistan is landlocked, it has to either depend on pakistan or its northern neighbors or its eastern neighbor, or some far away neighbor half a world away ie the US. It can not survive on its own.

The only other option is to destroy pakistan and gain access to the indian ocean only then will afghanistan be free but thats a long shot.

                            Listen up buddy,

Karzai is a napaki army supporter. You know why? Because without the napaki army support for the US WAR with SUPPLY ROUTES and DRONE ATTACKS, NAPAKI Karzai wont be in power (only in Kabul, and the small area around his palace LOL). The same goes for the ANP napaki red hats aka false nationalists (who have now supported two wars in Afghanistan- the Soviet one, and the American one)

Same goes for Abdullah Abdullah. He loves NAPAKIs because without NAPAKI support for the US war, his Northern Alliance buddies can not hold onto their criminal outfits.

US war is not POSSIBLE without NAPAKI ARMY support.

India and Pakistan both support the US war.

Afghans do not and will never tolerate occupation of their land

Well, untill 2001 Pakistan was sending ISI and Army officers to the battlefields to direct the Taliban movement. And it was directing their political leadership, too.
I think Pakistan can achieve that after a civil war of 4-5 years again because Pakistan has to do it from their perspective. They can´t afford to be flanked by two natural enemies.

That´s how Pakistani Army officers say it in public and in secret!
