SWABI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Friday vowed that if his party comes to power it would “free the nation from American slavery and US drones would be shot down.”

Addressing huge public rally in Swabi, he said those in power should be embarrassed about the ongoing drone attacks that violate Pakistan’s sovereignty and kill innocent people.

“PTI will not let the US attack Pakistan via drone strikes and will shoot their drones down.”

Imran Khan also declared that “We wont beg, we wont take loans and will generate our own funds.”

This is the only way to emberass Pakistan because without 2 Billion Dollar US-Aid per annum Pakistan will go down quickly.

But even if he comes to power, what can he do to generate funds?

Create a Pakistani industry from scratch?

thats assuming that the military and intelligence agencies of pakistan will magically be subordinate to an elected government. which it will not. the election of khans party will be better than nothing but lets not forget that just a few years ago people were cheering for the ppp against besharaff. now, people want it gone.

he is all talk, he will do and can do nothing. The army chief has publicly ordered The pak army to shoot down drones but in reality does nothing. It is better for NATO to invade FATA and annex it to its rightful country Afghanistan, Pakistani can neither protect nor control it. It is there for the taking.

The SC is taking action against PaK civilian government and also the army.

True, sometimes you have to break down the old system and start from scratch. Once you are sucked in to the old system and have to work within its confines, it can change you. The problem is the whole system, not these individuals. The power the pak army has just like the turkish army leads to corruption and power being in the hands of the few.

If he shoots down a drone, that would mean he is protecting Al Qaida and Taliban, because those drones attack value targets, and if Imran Khan shoots one down, that is a declaration of war on America, and lets see how many Dhaal bowls the Pakistanis put out to beg China...hahaha!
