These men claimed to be the Pakistani "fathers" of the Taliban. Both worked for the ISI and were involved with Afghan Mujahideen during the Cold War era. What do you think is the reason behind their deaths at the hands of the Taliban and why do you think the ISI, Mullah Omar and the Haqqanis failed to secure their release?

I wouldn't rely on wikipedia no matter what, except for
bare bones outline of events.
It was all so complex.
Also is Hakimullah Mehsud OK after all or is there any news about him
after the 8th attempt of U.S. to claim having exterminated him with a drone?
I didn't believe that for a minute, any of the claims.
I woke up thinking about this this morning, to check around and see
whether he is all right after all.
Though I didn't like that he killed Colonel Imam

Brother praise be to Allah,
this two persons you named,were working for the ISI and CIA and were hunting the leaders of the mujahideen,they wanted to find Mullah Omar (hz) and other leaders so the Americans could target them they were there in the name of negotiation with the TTP.
This person who inflicted severe pain on CIA,Abu Dujjana revealed all the works of the spy agencies to the TTP and the Islamic Emirate.
And over these two persons (imam and khawaja) they ordered the hukm of Allah,may Allah give them that they deserve.High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation.
