  • I Forgive the past to embrace the future.

You should consider this as well. I forgive our humble, illiterate and uneducated Afghans who have been used by foreigners and other outside power; I forgive all afghan people who have made wrong doing in the PAST.

I see that my brothers and sisters around the world still argue about the past. I am really sorry to say this but you haven’t achieved anything by arguing about the past and that is a FACT. Only ignorant people will ignore this fact.

My advice is that we take a big break about this arguing who did that and who did this. Our main goal for the future should be education, family and unity so we can achieve a stable Afghanistan and also secure its sovereignty. In the mean time Afghans contractors and some foreign contractors can start building up Afghanistan from scratch. With modern technology it won’t take many years for Afghanistan to achieve the same or even better infrastructure as European countries.

How can we achieve our main goal? Some academic education and start a family should be the first step for our youngsters. Second step must be to start/join a devoted (loyal) community that unites other miss guided Afghans or awakens Afghans that does not know their responsibility. The purpose for these communities will be to unite intelligent and loyal Afghans so our power (ideas, contacts, money etc) can increase. Together with our future mother organization/party we will take back our country and wipe out foreign/anti Afghan influence one way or another.
Why is this so important right now? Because this is our obligation and the right time (opportunity). We the new educated generation who has not seen so much misery has almost a free mind and can fight for the correct future for our motherland Afghanistan. My dear Afghans, no one else will help our Afghanistan/identity. Spread these words my brothers and sisters.

PS. Majority of Afghans together must fight, convert, silence or ban/ignore all brainwashed/trolls that claims to be Afghan/Pasthun and support disunity amongst Afghans with religious claims, racism or talks about the past. Respect your enemies and neighbours, if they behave like animals don’t try to fall in same line. Afghans has too much enemies around the world but Afghans biggest enemy can be themselves, because of illiteracy, misunderstanding/ignorance and difficultly to control their feelings (think before you act).

Manana/Tashakor for reading this and god bless our pure minded Afghans that will obtain their responsibility to bring a bright future for their motherland Afghanistan.

Brother I don't think we are in the position to forgive anyone especially those that died and fought defending their country. Saying that we forgive them is like saying they owed us. It is very condescending and disrespectful especially by those of us who left instead of sticking around.

I know you mean well, therefore bakhana ghewaram. What we can say is we understand and sympathize with them.

      Opening part...full of arrogance.

Its like every Afghan Pashtun...owes this...person

      a apology.

Those Afghan civilians back home are...brave...people.

      Allah s.w.t is the one to...reward and...forgive.

      Not...humans.

      Not ...you.

      Learn how to write the...opening...topic.

Then may be you will get...a politer...response.

      People have lost their entire...families.
I believe the sun should never set upon an argument.
I believe forgiveness is the key to your unhappiness.

forgiveness is overrated. anger pointed at the right direction and used at the right time can achieve you things that you would never believe you were capable of. things that no amount of power determination or ambition will get you anywhere near to. forgiveness is for people who are ashamed of looking in the mirror from the fear of what they have allowed to creep inside themselves.

I am no bird, and no nest ensnares me.

look what anger has done to us in the last 30 years , brother killing broter , with blind

anger we feel closer to strangers ( arabs , pakis , american ,russian etc.) than to the

people we should really care of .

and we have to break that cycle of hatred and violence , because the ones who are taking advantage of it , and who caused it are not affected .

and forgiveness , is not a sign of weakness but truely a sign of big greatness , and

foremost one must forgive himself and overcome hatred , otherwise you will achive

          nothing .

i dont know how old you are dazaro, but maybe if you get a little bit older , you will

realize that hatred is not an answer and not a solution . you are mentaly blocked if you

          thrive with anger .

Well I have lost family members as well. This topic was for the new generation Afghans. Our free minded and loyal patriotic youngsters around the world. Not narrow minded people over 30 or people with huge family/past problems that interferes with our task and Afghanistan's interest. We know you have your problems talking about the past. Everything has its time, even justice. People will never forget the past. But to my youngsters that believes in the bright future of Afghanistan must stand up against any threat that demolishes Afghanistan sovereignty and future. Afghanistan is not ruled by Afghans today and that is a fact.

There is nothing that a good amount of begging wont get you. Plenty of forgiveness for those who earn it by begging for it earnestly. Nothing for man***** like characters who have themselves confused for otherwise and claim that in order for you to be of any use in life, you must forgive others for the sake of the (supposedly) goodness in your heart or for your own betterment. As a matter of fact, when someone tries to manipulate you in to believing that, you should leave a them with a few imprints of your shoe on their face to help them prevent putting themselves in a pathetic situation as such in future.

                    Disgruntled Opiate bride,

The topic of forgiveness in this thread is contextualized by the political circumstances back home.

If we dont forgive, well then the Tajiks want revenge for the scorching of the Shamali plains, the Hazaras want revenge for the Bamian massacres, the Talibs want revenge for the containers massacre, ex Khalqis and Parchamis will be hunted down in their homes, former Royalists will be targeted by disgruntled political prisoners, the country will burn to the ground ,and maybe then you can console the widows and prostitutes with your emotional rants?

We are not talking about forgiveness in a general sense. The Amir understands all too well the limitations of forgiveness, and the necessity of an iron hand. He doesnt require a petulant child to remind him of this.

Dear walls of this thread, should you spot a man***** around here with the misconception of being addressed by me, do remind him of the fact that though the title man***** does fit his character alot better than that of the next *******, he is not the only one of his type. Okay?? Thank you.

DZJ ( not offending) but you remember me of that powerful woman from the Book of the Travel of Marco Polo (posted by yasmeena) : There is a mongol woman named Aigiarm she offered anyone who beats her or overcome her in a 1 vs 1 can marry her,if not has to offer 100 or 1000 horses, many tried but all lost and it is written in history she never married.

Her father the king wished to marry her; but she declined,
saying, that she would never take a husband till she
met with some gentleman who should conquer her by force,
upon which the king, her father, gave her a written promise
that she might marry at her own will.

All western Pro war Afghans (karzai, Spanta) should be banned from Afghanistan

Only those who wish to rebuild the country

No foreigners (whoever) will ever be tolerated in Afghanistan. That's the way Afghanistan is and always will be.

                          WAR IS NOT PEACE

                          Slavery is not freedom

Afghans need to be left alone by evil PRO WAR AFGHANS ( cowards sitting in the West preaching PRO WAR chants).

These pro war Cowards sit in the West beating war drums for more war on Afghanistan

                          They don't want peace.

Why do these people (Soldat, Nokianwn) want the West to fight Taliban?

Why don't people like Soldat go and fight the Taliban himself?

What is he doing sitting in the West? What? Why is he not in North Korea?

Well, it takes a big heart and courage to forgive and personally one of my relatives has forgiven the killer of their son who happened to be a government soldier during communist times. But some people should be brought to justice, like gulbuddin, dostum and so on. Such people pose a threat to the state and they should be brought to justice. Without justice there can be no peace. For the wounds to heal, first criminals should be given a fair trial and if proven guilty punished according to sharia.

To hate a whole ethnic group for the crimes of a few is wrong and only those who are guilty should be punished. But the oppressors and criminals should be punished because tolerating opression and injustice is also a crime.
