  • Commie War Criminal on the Loose in Germany

Saw this article back in December, looks like it hasn't been posted here.
Does anyone have any update on this?

    Afghan war criminal loose
    in Munich

A former general in the Afghan secret service, allegedly responsible
for 30,000 murders, has been living in Munich disguised as a
newspaper seller for several years. Police are now investigating.

State prosecuter Thomas Steinkraus-Koch confirmed to news
magazineFocus on Sunday that the 60-year-old from Kabul is being
    investigated for murder.

The Bavarian state police have been charged with the task of tracking him
down, though Steinkraus-Koch said more police forces would have to get
    involved in the investigation.

According to Focus, the suspect was a department chief in the Afghan
secret service before and after the Soviet Union's invasion of Afghanistan
    in December 1979.

He worked for the Soviet-backed regime of President Mohammad Najibullah
and was responsible for investigations of political crimes and director of
Afghanistan's prisons and interrogation and torture centres.

He is said to have ordered a mass-shooting of prisoners in the Pul-e
Charkhi prison in 1988, as a reprisal when inmates cheered the news that
    Soviet forces were withdrawing.

There are said to be more than 250 witness testimonies of the massacre,
where inmates were shot in groups of 60 and tipped into mass graves. A
communist-era mass grave was discovered at the prison in 2006, which is
    believed to contain 2,000 corpses.

The man has reportedly been living undercover in Germany for so long that
    he now has German nationality.

Two other German state prosecutors, in Hesse and North Rhine
Westphalia, are currently investigating five other ex-officers of the Afghan
secret service thought to be living in Germany.

Ironically Germany is helping to prop up the numerous war criminals back home in the Afghan government (Communist & 'mujahid' alike).

There is no rule of law in Afghanistan.
That is one of the fundamental tennets of any civilised society whether it is a democracy, a theocracy or a Communist dictatorship.

This is a nice article touching on the issue:
      http://afpak.foreignpolicy.com/posts...justice_system

Of course the likelyhood of Karzai ever carrying out his empty words is minimal. If he were to actually reform the system & prosecute the corrupt, he would have to start closer to home!

It's just indicative of the illegitimacy of the current government. As long as such characters fill it up, going unpunished and immune to war crimes investigations, it will never be the legitimate representative of the people. America & the West of course have no problem with this. The record shows that they are more than willing to support such blatently 'evil' characters when it suits their needs. Justice is only a priority if it helps America in any way. Otherwise the Afghans will just have to suck it up. What a choice eh.

It's not just limited to the Muslim lands btw. Nations and peoples around the world regardless of religion suffer because of modern-day American imperialism.

There are other former Khad and Khad-e Nezami Officers being imprisoned in Frankfurt, too.

I am glad that the German Law allows to go after these pigs.

I would love to see them being sent to the Hague.

Many PDPA/KHAD and some former so-called mujahedin commanders, who committed war crimes are ****ting their pants in Germany, too.

My father was in prison for some time during Karmal“s presidency and he told me that his interrogater lives in Frankfurt now.

That guy interrogated many inmates of my father, too, and some of them disappeared.

Some people are lucky enough to get out of those prisons, others aren“t.

          Makes my blood boil sometimes.

Indeed. Quite a few of my family members of the older generations including my grandfather didn't make it out alive. It would be naive to think they would since according to the Communists, their 'crimes' were higher level.

Many innocent people perished at the hands of the Commies simply because their principles and beliefs (commonly held by the majority of Pashtuns) did not allow for any support for such an ideology. Some people here always talk of how the Taliban killed so many intellectuals yet conveniently avoid the Communist 'purges' were many great teachers, doctors, generals died because they did not conform (not that I am supporting or justifying those actions by the Taliban).

The other day a man who was a former commander at Puli Charkhi came to our house. Unlike most of his former collegaues, he was a good man. He knew God and helped the prisoners when he could giving them food, making their lives better. Not everyone in the Communist institutions was a Godless, immoral blood-sucking Commie. Many were just ordinary people trying to make a living with no allegiance to the oppresive ideology/government.

I'm glad that those in Germany are living in fear. Many were massacred. Justice needs to be served. The 'Nazi Hunters' have no problem in finding and sentencing 80 year old Nazi officers. Imagine if those same officers and commanders were incorporated into the post-war government and immune from punishment. The people wouldn't stand for it. Similar story for Afghanistan.

It's not just the Commies though. As you say, many commanders in the war against the Soviets and the civil war that preceded are guilty of many incomprehendable crimes. The last thing that we should be doing is putting them in charge of the country.

Its funny how we speak so highly of targeting members of the former communist government because you know they are defenseless and living in countries whereby gunlaws are very strict, why dont we act big and tough and hunt down those armed Talib militants who took Hazara women as concubines and slaughtered teachers, hung little boys who flew kites???????

Oh wait......we cant because we are all talk and we only operate in countries such as the west whereby the public are civilized and follow the law whereby the countries where they inject water into goat meat to increase its weight are off topic.

Lets do us all a favor and capture Hekmatyar or maybe Sayaf for starting all these brutalities, oh wait we wont touch them because they do wudu and we evil commies only shower twice a day.

                            get real guys!
