One might have doubts about Nek Mohammad and Baitullah Mehsud but there are no doubts whatsoever about the personality of Hakimullah Mehsud, during whose time dozens of bombs ripped through Pushtunkhwa, killing thousands of innocent people.

He bombed the World Food Program office, he attacked various police stations, his attacks on police checkpoints killed mainly civilians, his men destroyed all the schools they could get their hands on, he helped institutionalize the kidnapping business, he helped institutionalize the buying and selling of child suicide-bombers, he attacked a volleyball match in Lakki Marwat, killing 105 people, he bombed a market in Peshawar killing dozens, he bombed a refugee gathering in Kohat, killing 41 and there are dozens upon dozens of other attacks on mosques, markets, schools and other civilian areas.

And most of his civilian targets are Pashtuns.

All these people living in the West think that Hakimullah was some sort of a hero for fighting the Pakistani army but they're mistaken. Yes, he took on the Punjabi army but not for the sake of Pashtuns, it was to continue his criminal enterprises and rule Waziristan as a king. Ask any Pashtun from Pashtunkhwa what they think about this Hakimullah or better still, ask a Mehsud.

Hakeemullah is the man who stood idle as Uzbek Militants chopped the heads of Maseed elders who opposed their presence in Makin South Waziristan.

Stupid people who go around showing Hakeemullah as some kind of Anti Pakistani fighter, he was a Pakistani to the core, he loved his Pakistan and even offered to defend Punjabs border with India from the Hindustanis.

Hakeemullah Mahsud is the same criminal who went around taking extortion money from Maseed families in Karachi.
