My response to the peening incident

I made a little response to the recent peeing incident. I was as straight forward as can be and really cheesed a lot of people off but hey its my view on things and I am not a biased person.

It is very possible Soldat to be disgusted knowing that American marines have urinated on dead bodies as it is possible to be completely against the mutilation of human bodies by misguided militants. From the Geneva Conventions or any Human Rights perspective neither is better than the other.

Traditionally in Pashtunwali we extend protection and asylum as a right, even for enemies operating outside and running away from the law. Protection comes first - judgements and so on, are made later. That to me fits the spirit of human rights; something that has been violated here and jeopardises the raison d'etre of the American presence in Afghanistan in the first place.

OBVIOUSLY. Theres a difference between the issues in a country by the countrymen and a difference between guys flying accross the world to kill people and piss on them.

If i slap my brother, my father wont say much - however if some angrez that doesnt even have anything to do with him comes and slaps him its a whole different story.

i have to disagree with this one, when an immoral act is committed by an uneducated and brainwashed taliban in the name of religion is something diffirent , nothing good is expected from then. where as the same immoral acts are committed by an organised and well trained army men is totaly diffirent, if we condomn the cruel acts of paki army we must do the same done by an american army.

I will be honest with you brother that I am disgusted by your response. You have to defend the people and the society you are from and born into I understand that. Yet you show that having Pashtun blood is not enough. You are here to score points without thinking for a second that those dead Afghans could be innocent men something nonPashtuns have pointed out.

You are an idiot for agreeing with an idiot.

His points are flawed. crimes done by indegenous people has a diffferent reaction than done by foreigners. I have already pointed that out in the other threads. Take the 911 attacks on America. Amreicans were furious and put all their resources together to get one man. Where as when when of their own did the Oklahoma city bombing, the reaction was totally different. They started questoning their own society, what is wrong with it when one of their own could turn to doing somehting like this.

Domestic terrorists in America are hardly mentioned while many domestic terrorism acts happen every year. It is only mentioned in local news and not on the national level but if a foreigner does terrorism acts it is mentioned on the national level.
