Arab Spring: Western ploy to loot, control Eurasia : F. William Engdahl - YouTube

William Engdahl says the US does not want to admit its inevitable demise and current conflicts in the Middle East represent the existing plans “to keep this sole superpower not only intact and to spread its influence over the rest of the planet”. He states that the Arab Spring and the Twitter revolutions “have been planned years back … by the US State Department”.
Also, Engdahl reveals that the Chinese, by buying the US Treasury bonds, ironically finance the wars “directed against Chinese national interest for energy security”.

Would you say that these conflicts that we are seeing today in terms of euro and the dollar situation and what is happening in Northern Africa and Middle East, do these conflicts feed off each other? Are they somehow related?
“Well what I see in all of these conflicts, the decision to bomb Libya, the crisis with the dollar, the crisis with the American economy and the conduct of American foreign policy in the last period is all part of a breakdown of entire superpower structure that was built up after the end of WWII and nobody in Washington wants to admit, just as nobody in Britain 100 years ago wanted to admit that the British empire was in terminal decline. So they push fast-forward with existing plans and they see that in one part of the world and another these agendas no longer have the effect they did 10 or 20 years ago. But very definitely, all of this is related to the attempt to keep this sole superpower not only intact, but to spread its influence over the rest of the planet and that, not surprising, much of the world is not too eager to see that.”
So would you say that what is happening in Middle East or Northern Africa is an attempt on behalf of the US to keep its game up?
“Very much so, the plan was first announced by George W. Bush when he was President, just after the invasion of Iraq in 2003 at a G8 meeting and it was called the ‘Greater Middle East Project’ and that project, they published a map of what they had in mind, was the control and the democratization, as they called it, of the entire Islamic world from Afghanistan, Pakistan, down through Iran, Syria, the Persian Gulf area, the oil producing states there and across North Africa, all the way to Morocco. And the events, the so-called Arab Spring, have been planned years back and the instigators of those so-called spontaneous protests, those Twitter revolts, and Cairo, and Tunisia, and so forth over the last months have all been pre-organized assiduously. Some of the people, leaders of the protests, have been trained in Belgrade, in Serbia by activists financed by the US State Department. This thing has State Department and US intelligence all over it.”
    On the US agenda:
Militarily, the places such as Libya and South Sudan, the so-called Republic of South Sudan, to militarize those oil sources that are directly strategic to China’s future economic growth. So this is all about controlling Eurasia, some things Zbigniew Brzezinski talked about back in 1997 in his famous book the ‘Grand Chess Game’ [The Grand Chessboard] and controlling especially Russia and China and any potential cohesion of the Eurasian countries economically and politically.”
Who would you say pays for wars waged by the US?
“You have to go back to the role in the last 20 or 30 years, actually it began in the ‘80s, with the role of the dollar as world reserve currency. What that means, to strip away all the complicated economic jargon, is world trade, central banks and China or Japan or Russia and so, they have to have dollars because other nations only accept dollars as a universal currency. They shouldn’t anymore because US economy is on its knees, but they do. And China has an enormous trade surplus; Wall-Mart is essentially an outpost of Chinese manufacturing in America today. So the 300 billion plus of surplus dollars that the Central Bank of China amasses every year, what do you do with that? Well, there is few markets big enough to invest in. Supposedly they could buy gold for their central bank reserves, which they are doing by the way, but the place they could invest it, as they see it right now until very recently, is either in dollars or in the euro. They’ve got something like three trillion dollars of US dollar Treasury bonds or bills as their reserves today. So in effect, the US would not be able to finance the deficits that they are running to wage those wars in Afghanistan, or wage those wars in Iraq, or in Libya unless the Chinese were buying the US Treasury bonds. So ironically the Chinese [fund] wars directed against Chinese national interest for energy security.”
    Comment:
After the protests in Iran in 2009, there was considerable commentary posted about them being the result of deliberate action and part of a strategy designed to create social unrest and gather widedspread support on social media sites, especially Twitter. Many of us were aware and yet we made the choice to continue to support the protesters. That is not the same as being a part of some conspiracy. The two things are easily confused, and the genuine supporters, like genuine news reports, videos, images etc, are often hard to identfy or verify. But I have found that very little of this matters if you remain focussed on the humanitarian issues, rather than the politics. If you stick to the issues, you are less at risk of being sidetracked by petty disagreements.
One important thing that I have not seen written about, is that these theories, accusations, etc are not unknown to actual dissidents. There are real dissidents in Iran, just as there are in Tunisia, Egypt, Syria, Libya, Bahrain, Algeria, Morocco, Yemen, Mauritania, and so on across the Middle East, across the Arab world, across the world. They are there in South America, in Asia, in Europe, China, Australia. You get the picture? There are genuine dissidents all over the world. They might well be getting a gentle or even a brutal push from the US or any other global agency or state actor. But they are still genuine dissidents with genuine grievances, and very real desire for change of some sort. I've met a few of these people, I have personally communicated with hundreds of them. Some of them have told me they are aware of external meddling and interference, but they don't care. They have a cause, a reason to resist and they continue to resist, because they must: they see no alternative. Therefore, I continue to support them: I see no alternative.

People really need to wake up. The Bolshevik revolution was a ploy to plunder the wealth of Russian Empire from the Tsars, the Arab revolution is to plunder the oil wealth of the middle east and africa and privatize the industries which the west will control.

It was really funny that the supprters of islamic parties were celebrating and dubbed it the "Islamic revolution", secularists dubbed it as the "democratic" revolution and so on. Do people really believe muslims are in a state to bring about revolutions? Look at the state of us.

yes, i thought it is curious that china helps finance america, which is thumping it's chest and putting out propaganda to demonise china. now with the oil restictions against iran, this is a 3 way strategy. india and china both buy oil from iran from which they also produce products to sell.

this would kind of make sense if it weren't for the salafis and muslim brotherhood sweeping the elections in egypt. if the US had the capacity to start these revolutions, they would of seen the muslim sweep in the largest arab country.

now tell me, what would the US prefer...mubarak and his son continuing their secular rule who answer to the west instead of their own people, or muslim "radicals" who they can't predict the direction of?

the US is not stupid, surely they would know that islamic groups would gain a strong hold wherever these revolutions have taken place. why would they replace puppets who have been reliable for decades for these people?
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

as long the donkeys are satisfaied by so called "shariat " they are happy .

let them bark , let them scream , let them tell the people which ever story they wont .

but at the end they are just words ....

you have to look at saudi arabia , or the gulfstates (even the gulf states are more advanced ) , there you have the perfect system ......

so there is nothing wrong with the wahabis , they served in the 19th and 20th

century good pupose for the angress and they will do also today .

politics legitimized by religion , despite what the politics are they are always

right , because if you disagree , than you are a bad kafir ... even those

political acts are against quran sunnah and sharait , it doesnt matter.

and the people will be kept happy how good islam is practised even not

realizing they are zionist puppets and the jews have a good time with them .

unfortunately our muslim people are not happy with sharia law, not happy with our leaders and our governments; our people prefer bigmacs and freedom of the west, 50 cent and snoop dag, they want freedom, they want their rights, so in the excitement they throw the baby (their own culture and free thought) with the dirt bathwater (mubarak, gaddafi et al)*.

look at UAE, here white westerners are worshipped as the most superior sentient being (not realising they are discriminating themselves - obviously not looking hard enough in the mirror).

In iran they are dying to get out of iran, the women are corroding their hair with bleach to be blonde and the nearest they get to blonde is a dirty brown hair colour, the colour same as found in patches on a rottweiler. the men are all persian but but with italian blood or 'white euro aryans' , such complexes.

in pakistan and india, a little bit of education and they speak english as if their grandmother was queen victoria (infact she was the rulers of all pakistani & indian long before the separation ).

back to middle east, young (are brainwashed) and old ones (are suffering complexes) do not want to be like their ancestors, they want to be like their colonial masters, lebanese want to be french, gulf arabs are hungup on english and americans.

so of course agent provocoteurs are embedded in the population, not real spies, but sweet shirini viruses called ideas of 'freedom', 'liberty' and the 'american way'. it is like grafting a plant, the roots are native but the stem is changed. and so you get political movements, and revolutionaries, homegrown, brainwashed - educated fools lost in ignorance, drowning in glut.

(*personally, assassins from their midst should have eliminated bad leaders, like karzai's brother was eliminated)

                1. Consider the context. Jihad was declared against the British Christians in Bengal (Faraizi movement, Faqir movement, etc). Syed Ahmed Brelavi Shaheed declared Jihad against the Sikhs and the British. Omar Mukhtar raised the flag of Jihad in N Africa. Mehdi of Sudan declared Jihad and eventually embraced shahadat. In this backdrop, WCC (Western Christian Civilization) took up two objectives to contain the rise of the Muslims.

                a. The only remaining Caliphate of Islam was to be scrapped. Not only would that leave the British Empire supreme but break the the Muslim world, both within Dar ul Islam and in Dar ul Harb, away from the singular allegiance they owed to the Turkish Khalifa through offering Friday khutba in his name.
                b. Hindustan had emerged as the most potential base of Islam. The British remembered the spontenous cry ringing out in 1857 from the soldiers gathered before Emperor Bahadur Shah Ja'far: "Khalq e Khuda, Takht e Badshah, Huqumat e Sipahi". The Hindu soldiers were also chanting the same slogan. Meanwhile a call to Jihad had already been made in a gathering in front of the Juma Masjid, Delhi inviting the Shah of Persia to invade Hindustan to protect the Muslims. WCC therefore decided to crush the Muslims of Hindustan.

                2. Various practical steps, some planned several decades ahead, were taken to further these set goals. Overtaking the Wahabi movement for cleansing the Arab Muslim society was one. By encouraging the Arabs of the desert through planted Intel officers like Lawrence of Arabia, the movement squeezed the Khalifa's hold to Turkey only. The same Lawrence was launched in Afghanistan in the garb of a Mullah to derail the progressive moves planned by Amanullah Shah. Thus was catapulted Bacha'i Saqa, the water carrier into the leadership of a revolt that saw the emergence of Gen Nadir Shah as the King.

I fear the mujahideen will be used and then discarded once the goals are acheived. The only way for sharia to be established is because of indigenous movements where people themselves want change. Remember Allah (swt) doesn't change the state of people until they change themselves. In my personal opinion I don't think there is wide enough support for mujahideen to bring about the changes necessary. The recent bad press they have received and the control of the media in the kufar hands and puppet governments have deceived the people. The internet might change that somewhat because of its freedom must in most islamic countries internet will be censored in the name of religion and the truth will be hidden from the masses.

If these revolutions were truly planned and instigated by the people then why didn't the revolution in Bahrain succeed? is it a co incidence that no revolution has taken place in saudi arabia, biggest US ally in the arab world?

If the kafir countries can help Muslim and Arab countries to remove secularists, atheists and un-Islamic people I don't care if they help.

What is certain now is that they don't have a puppet leader anymore. The Muslims are winning all polls in the Arab world.

yes ofcourse himar , the americans are stupid , they will be outsmarted by the glorious " mujahedin " ?
