That's hardly supporting a war. Especially if whatever little you do translates into dollars, the Pakistani's biggest weakness.

    LZ sahab,

It's a well known fact that Pakistan uses Islam as a strategic tool, and it serves as an effective foreign policy.

A line[Durrand line] of hatred that raised a wall between the two brothers -Hamid Karzai

For generations, the Hindus of India prayed for deliverance from "the venom of the cobra, the teeth of the tiger and the vengeance of the Afghan."

The men of Kábul and Khilj also went home; and whenever they were questioned about the Musulmáns of the Kohistán (the mountains), and how matters stood there, they said, "Don't call it Kohistán, but Afghánistán; for there is nothing there but Afgháns and disturbances." Thus it is clear that for this reason the people of the country call their home in their own language Afghánistán, and themselves Afgháns. The people of India call them Patán; but the reason for this is not known. But it occurs to me, that when, under the rule of Muhammadan sovereigns, Musulmáns first came to the city of Patná, and dwelt there, the people of India (for that reason) called them Patáns—but God knows!

I wouldnt call pakistan a perfect poodle ally. It supports the US because it fears to confront it head on. It supports the taliban because it fears indian influence on its western border would be disasterous.

The above and really this entire thread only serves to consolidate that Pakistani government only interested in protecting and preserving their government's interests at all costs. No matter what that means. They're not on TTP's side, they're not on the American's side. They're on everyone's side and no one's side... Truth is, they're on their own side (like most government's today). Their actions have consistently proven that they will do anything to serve their own interests and agenda. No shame.

it supports the US because it has been a US ally since its birth against an initially soviet allied india. today they are overplaying their china ally card by acting like they don't need the US, while at the same time staying in bed with the US. acting uppity against a drone strike while they have been hosting drones on their soil for years. despite what blind talib groupies think, the situation is not black and white. that is why u have a pro western afghan govt against a pro western paki govt.
There are people today who think that admitting God’s absolute greatness decreases the value and importance of humans in the creation, as if God and mankind are rivals competing in greatness and power. Meanwhile I feel that whenever our perception of God’s greatness increases, with it we become greater, because we are the creation of a great God.

you could have both governmnets as pro western, but that does not mean each dont have their own best intersts as priority. you had saddam husain who was pro western but as soon as his intersts clashed with the wests intersts, well you know what happened there. today you have paksitans interests clashing with the wests interests. If saddam had nuclear weapons, one wonders if he would be alive today.

I have met plenty pakistani panjabis and institutionalised pakistani pashtun who are equally messed up in their cuckoo/la-la-land/head-in-the-sand interpretation of the world. they have conspiracy theories so simple yet incredibly incredulous that will shame any alien abduction story you may read elsewhere.

Buddy Randoplh and others singing the same song,

It matters not whether a homosexual is against the foreign occupation of Afghanistan, Iraq, or Vietnam.

You can't deny the legitimacy of anything based on convergent interests

It is the recycled feces laced argument that belongs in the toilet

Desperately trying to continuously say that some Afghan wants to place Pakistans green flag at Kandahar is the biggest piece of donkey feces argument and it holds no ground

It is illogical and quite frankly any nutcase who continues to sing this song should instead be honest as to what they really want to say

Who ever said Pakistan represents Islam?

That's about the next biggest piece of donkey feced recycled over and over

                    Double games/ triple games

It changes nothing especially in regards to Afghans being against the occupation of their land

Vietnamese could care less if some homosexual, Chinese, Russian person had convergent interests in ending the US occupation of Vietnam

Bottom line to all of you beating this dead horse

Is you can't force anyone in the whole universe to fight

Foreign meddling causes them to do that

Foreign presence/occupation causes them to do that

You don't need a Phd or you don't need to be Einstein to know this

We can hate this guy, we can curse this guy, at the end what this guy says was and is official Pakistan policy towards Afghanistan, ever since 1948. I suggest ever member to read Ali Jenah's speech regarding FATA, he openly state the continuation of old British Raj policy. Pakistan was and is Afghanistan enemy, NO matter how much we sugar coat this under Islamic brotherhood and what not, at the end holy Islam is used as a tool against our country and our people! Sooner we realize the better for us.

I give 1 week Pakistan to surrender to the islamic emirate of Afghanistan, after the lions have conquered Kabul back and the apostate government has collapsed and the terrorists foreigners have left.

This country ( Pakistan) is so corrupt that their army will surrender and their leaders will all flee.

I suggest everyone to pay more attention to what this paki says...the idea is not to host their flag but our natural resources.
A nation without a true history is doomed to repeated failure. The main problem of Afghanistan is clear like the sun …
                              Why?

For multiple reasons .. among other things, example, Taliban are wearing Pashtun mask while they are not Pashtun and they are there to misuses the whole issues for achieving things where Pashtuns become the main victims.

Pakistan is an artificial state constructed by the british in 1948 that does not have any historical legitimacy. There was nothing called Pakistan before 1948. Nor is there an Pakistani ethnicity.

Imagine that there live Indian Punjabis next to the Pakistani Punjabis just accross the border. The difference is that they speak a different language and have a different religion. But they are the same people.

Tajiks should belong to Tajikistan, Uzbeks to Uzbekistan, Pashtun to Afghanistan and Pashtun areas in Pakistan, Punjabis to Punjabistan and Sindh in their own homeland. The same with the Baloch people. Another idea could be an confederation of Muslim states or autonomy.

At least Bangladesh, despite it's young age as well, is a homogenous country with Bengali Muslims as the vast majority (90 percent) and a long history in that exact area.

I don't see a successful Pakistan on the long if they do not develop a common and stable culture that include all it's peoples. And that's next to impossible when Pashtuns, Punjabis, Sindh and Baloch people all are fighting for their own kind, land, culture and influence. Those that know their history and heritage at least.
